Job Vacancy: Quality Assurance Specialist.

Palestine Gardens is a leading exporter company of premium Palestinian Medjoul dates to international markets. We are committed to the highest standards of food safety, quality, and traceability. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to lead and strengthen our quality standards. The Quality Assurance Specialist will oversee and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance in the processing and packaging of dates. This role is responsible for monitoring production activities, conducting inspections, and implementing quality systems to guarantee that products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and evaluate all stages of dates processing (sorting, cleaning, grading, packaging).
Develop and implement quality control procedures and documentation.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and corrective measures.
Lead and manage the Quality Assurance and Food Safety systems across the facility.
Ensure full compliance with FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, GlobalG.A.P., Halal, and customer requirements.
Oversee implementation and maintenance of HACCP plans and prerequisite programs.
Manage internal audits, external audits, and certification processes.
Monitor product quality from raw material intake through packing and dispatch.
Supervise laboratory testing, inspections, and corrective actions.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis.
Train and develop QA/QC team and production staff on food safety practices.
Manage customer complaints and non-conformance investigations

متطلبات الوظيفة:
? Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in food Processing, Food Technology, Agriculture, Biotechnology, Nutrition, or any related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance within food manufacturing or fresh produce.
Strong knowledge of:
HACCP
FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000
Global G.A.P.
EU food safety requirements
Controlling HACCP program.
Proven experience managing certification audits
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good command of English and Arabic (written and spoken)
Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation systems
Preferred (Plus Advantage):

Experience in Dates, or agricultural export sector
Lead Auditor certification (ISO/FSSC/Global Gap)
Experience with EU and US market requirements
Background in packhouse operations
