Project Overview
 The Risk Management office (RMO) supports all projects of the German state development cooperation organizations and agencies (GIZ, KfW, PTB) and deliver professional support services and best possible guarantee of personal security and safety of its clientele.

The RMO provide services in three main fields of action: (1) Security & Safety Analysis and Advisory, (2) Operational Movement Support, and (3) crisis prevention and management.

To support the RMO project in Ramallah, we are looking for full-time (100%), Band 1 position within the Risk Management Office” project.

“Driver”

Tasks and Functions include but are not limited to:

Drive staff, partners, guests and consultants safely in programme or agency vehicles, including armored and soft-skin vehicles, in accordance with applicable regulations and instructions.
Conduct periodic and timely routine basic maintenance and equipment checks of assigned vehicles to ensure roadworthiness, safety, and operational readiness.
Ensure orderly operation, cleanliness, and proper use of programme or agency vehicles.
Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks and support the preparation of mileage and cost-recovery records.
Coordinate and follow up on regular vehicle maintenance, licensing, inspections, and registration procedures, reporting any issues promptly.
Carry out official errands, including delivery of correspondence and documents to programme partners and institutions.
Provide support in administrative and protocol procedures related to driving licenses for international staff, in coordination with the responsible units.
Support logistical activities, including the transport, preparation, and handling of materials and equipment for programme workshops and meetings.
متطلبات الوظيفة:
Required qualifications, competences, and experiences are considered an asset:

High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education.
Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a professional driver including experience in driving commercial armored vehicles.
Previous experience within International Organizations. embassy or representative office is an advantage.
Valid driving license valid in Israel, West Bank including Jerusalem, and Gaza is required, withcategories B and C1 mandatory; category D is an advantage, with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass driving test (visual, medical and practical).
Defense driving certification or equivalent is considered an advantage.
Skills in basic vehicle maintenance and ability to identify technical issues.
Good knowledge of driving rules and regulations
Proven geographical, navigation and road conditions knowledge in the West Bank, Gaza and Jerusalem.
Good working knowledge of modern communication and orientation systems (mobile phones), operating
knowledge of satellite phones and VHF radio is considered an advantage.
Basic digital skills with Windows environment and common office applications.
Fluency in Arabic and English (oral and written) are required; knowledge of Hebrew is an asset.
Strong communication, reliability, punctuality, time management and self-discipline skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team and customer-oriented environment.
Holder of Jerusalem ID is required, residency in Kufr Aqab or Ramallah is preferable.
