Photographer: Documenting Summer Camp Activities organized by PC
Background
The Palestinian Circus (PC) is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization, which was established in 2006 and is registered with the Palestinian Authority since February 2007. By teaching, creating, performing and programming circus arts, the Palestinian Circus strengthens the creative, social and physical potential of Palestinians, seeking to engage and empower them to become constructive actors in society and raises local and international awareness about the Palestinian potential and its different challenges. 

During the summer months, PC organizes a series of summer camps and open days across different locations, bringing together children and youth in creative and engaging environments. As part of its communication efforts, PC seeks to document these activities through professional photography.
This assignment is carried out within the framework of the project: ““Circus as a tool for social change in Palestine”, implemented in partnership with Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).

Objectives
PC is seeking a professional photographer (or photography service provider) to capture and document its activities, programs, and events in a way that reflects the organization’s identity, values, and community impact.

 Scope of Services
In realization of the objectives of the assignment, and in close cooperation with the PC team, the scope of work will be as follows:

Document the summer camps across multiple locations, including Birzeit, Jerusalem, Tulkarm, Nablus and Jenin
Capture high-quality photographs, 8 short social media reels, and short documentary video that reflect:
Summer camps activities
Participant experiences and impact
Overall atmosphere of the camps
Plan and execute visual coverage in close coordination with the PC team to ensure all key activities and interactions are documented.
Manage all logistics related to equipment setup, travel, and offsite locations.
Deliver edited photos and videos in high-resolution digital format with full usage rights for PC.
Ensure timely delivery according to the agreed schedule and deliverables.

5. Technical Requirements
Photography and videography must be high-resolution and suitable for both digital and print use.
Content should include candid, action, group, and environmental shots to accurately reflect camp activities.
Videos must be professionally edited, with color grading, optional background music, and subtitles when needed.
Short social media reels should be optimized for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, maintaining visual clarity even on mobile screens.
Delivered files must be organized, labeled, and in formats compatible with PC systems, ensuring ease of use for promotion and archiving.
Coverage should account for logistical constraints, including travel to offsite camps and setup requirements, without compromising content quality.
Visual content must remain consistent in style and quality across all camps, providing a cohesive look for PC promotional materials

Timeframe
This assignment will be implemented starting on the day of signing the contract and ending on the 15th of September 2026.

level of effort
Estimated total effort: from design to delivery, within the designated timeframe. Close coordination with PC is expected throughout the process.

Other terms
All tasks are to be prepared in close coordination with PC Communication team.

 This project is exempt from Value Added Tax (VAT).

  The supplier must provide a valid deduction at source certificate. If the certificate is not provided, 10% will be deducted from the total amount and submitted to income tax.

§  The “outputs” of the assignment will be considered as “deliverables” upon the approval of PC Communication team.
