الوصف الوظيفي:SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an international humanitarian NGO which, for more than 40 years, has been providing assistance to populations affected by armed conflicts and natural disasters by meeting their vital needs for food, water and shelter. Particularly involved in the fight against diseases linked to unsafe water, the first cause of death in the world, SI's interventions provide expertise in the field of access to drinking water, sanitation and hygiene promotion, but also in the essential area of food security and livelihoods. Present in around twenty countries, SI's teams - 2000 people in total made up of expatriates, national staff, permanent staff at headquarters, and a few volunteers - work with professionalism and commitment while respecting cultures.

About the position
Job title: Logistics Officer
Post location: Ramallah
Starting date: 01/06/2026
Contract duration: 6 months renewable according to funding
The Logistician officer is responsible for monitoring and facilitating logistics activities at the base he/she is affected to, in order to ensure a smooth support to programmatic activities and comfortable working space to his.her colleagues.
He/she ensures compliance with Solidarités International logistics procedures.
Job Description:
PROCUREMENT
In link with the line manager and technical referent, to perform the procurement requested at base level, in accordance with Program technical requirements and Solidarites International internal procedures.
Revert to the coordination of any international procurement needs. Prepare payment folders for the administration service.
Ensure SI contracts and purchases are updated into logistics follow-up.
Ensures procurement documents are systematically reviewed by the technical referent (contracts, analysis tables…)
IINTERDEPARTMENT
Take part in weekly meetings between the logistics and program departments
Take part in weekly base meeting
STOCK MANAGEMENT
Make sure the vouchers of stocks are properly filled and archived.
Ensures SI’s storing space are in proper condition and respects SI standards
If it is necessary, to prepare Service Request Forms for storage periods to external partners’ warehouses (logistics cluster, Atlas…).
Perform inventories on bi-monthly basis
Ensure goods and stocks movements are followed in a stock follow up
VEHICULES MANAGEMENT
Organize the schedule of cars movements dedicated to external activities during the working days
Ensure vehicles are in proper condition and needed maintenance is done
Ensure there are spare parts, tools and accessories available in the cars
Ensure there is enough fuel into the vehicle: schedule and organize fuel collection if needed
Ensure the continuous general training of drivers and regularly test their knowledge
Check that vehicle logbooks are in place and are used correctly
Ensure that all fuel consumption and mileage data are monitored, consolidated, analyzed and reported
Ensure that the administrative documents for all vehicles are available, filed and monitored
EQUIPEMENT
Ensures a follow-up of communication materials available in the base (GPS trackers, smartphones…)
Ensures all professional phones have credit and are monthly topped-up
Ensure equipment materials (telecommunications, laptops, generators…) are followed and updated into the park statement.
INTERNAL CONTROL
Responsible for the compliance of the documents produced.
FILING & ARCHIVING
Responsible for filing and archiving the documents produced in accordance with internal procedures
FIGHT AGAINST ABUSE
Creates and actively collaborates in the implementation of a work environment that prevents inappropriate behavior.
Participates in communicating the existence of SI's ethical framework.
Respects at all times the protection of information exchanged in the context of a report and its processing.
Implement measures to mitigate the risk of abuse
This list is not exhaustive and other related tasks (within the scope of the position) may be assigned at the request of the line manager.
متطلبات الوظيفة:Studies: Bachelor or equivalent, in logistics, facility management, or any relevant field
Experience: 1 to 2 years' experience in logistics field. , Experience in the humanitarian field would be an asset.
Languages: English professional working, fluent in Arabic
Skills:
Good oral and written communication skills in English
Genuine commitment to the principles and work of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL.
Previous experience with an international or local organization operating in West Bank
Ability to work autonomously and under stress.
Good reactivity and reporting skills.
Good knowledge of Office pack – Word, Power Point and Excel
Strong adherence to procedures and rules
Keen to learn
Good team spirit and team player
