الوصف الوظيفي:SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an international humanitarian NGO which, for more than 40 years, has been providing assistance to populations affected by armed conflicts and natural disasters by meeting their vital needs for food, water and shelter. Particularly involved in the fight against diseases linked to unsafe water, the first cause of death in the world, SI's interventions provide expertise in the field of access to drinking water, sanitation and hygiene promotion, but also in the essential area of food security and livelihoods. Present in around twenty countries, SI's teams - 2000 people in total made up of expatriates, national staff, permanent staff at headquarters, and a few volunteers - work with professionalism and commitment while respecting cultures.

About the position
Job title: Logistic Responsible Operation

Contract duration: 6 months renewable according to funding
Job Summary:
The Logistics Responsible Operation provides support to the Logistics Coordinator in implementing the logistics strategy and operational activities at a mission level. He/she performs the following logistics activities for the coordination office, as well as in support to SI’s operational bases:
Movement Management
Premises Management
Stocks Management
Equipment, IT and telecommunication follow-up
INTERNAL COORDINATION
In charge the monthly logistics pack for the operational tools part (Fuel FU, Stock report, Kostango reports, Inventories,): review, support and consolidation for documents from bases and edits and updates for coordination documents. .
Supports efforts to optimize missions’ logistical resources and means.
EXTERNAL COORDINATION
Advocates logistical constraints in inter-actor networks.
Create a solid network with other actors to improve SI contextual approach and opportunities (warehousing, new buildings, security aspects…).
PREMISES MANAGEMENT
Ensures the follow-up with the bases, and updates for coordination of all contracts related to SI premises
Supports the Logistics Coordinator in assessing, visiting and searching for new premises (warehouse, office, guest houses) if needed for coordination; and provide technical advises and support to both operational bases when they need to.
Drafts and/or review any documentation related to building analysis.
Supports the capitalization of logistics information at mission (national) level. Responsible for filing and archiving documents produced in accordance with internal procedures. Implements measures to mitigate the risk of abuse. In line with his/her line manager, supervises the installation and maintenance of functional working and living space(s) with adequate conditions and all necessary equipment. Rely on the supply department for new procurement identified for the premises.
Handles the requests of monthly payment related to premises (bills, rental…).
MOVEMENT AND ROTATIONS MANAGEMENT
Ensures that all collaborators arriving in the country got necessary information related to his.her arrival (taxi contacts, GH address, bedroom number, keys…)
When rotations come inside Gaza, ensure a list of needed and prioritized items are shared by the Logistics Manager, and validated by the Country Director/Logistics Coordinator.
To give all collaborators going for rotation the goods they must carry during the rotations, and that all information about the items were communicated by the Logistics Coordinator.
Ensures the coordination team can have appropriate vehicles, up to their needs/requests.
STOCKS AND RECEPTION MANAGEMENT
Receives, checks and sends back all waybill related to supplies received at coordination office or other storage places.
Ensures bases send back their waybill after goods reception
Archives for documentation in accordance with SI procedures.
Ensures a smooth, framed, and correct reception in SI warehouses when cargo arrives. In link with the Logistics Coordinator and the Supply Supervisor, coordinate international receptions on the field and provide support and assistance to the Logistic Manager and his.her teams.
Performs conscientious good inventory when needed and validates reception documents.
In charge of all SI stocks at coordination level: counting, follow-up, in and out, availability and state of the materials…
EQUIPEMENT, IT AND TELECOMUNICATION FOLLOW-UP
Assists install and secure equipment.
Assists in monitoring and maintaining equipment.
Provides support to colleagues in equipment using
In link with his/her line manager, organizes training sessions in the use of means of communications, IT equipment and logistics software.
Oversees the follow-up and updates of the equipment software ‘’KOSTANGO’’ ; for both coordination and bases office.
Ensures the SIM cards follow-up for the coordination is up to date and accurate and, requests to the supply team is done, on a monthly basis, in a timely manner.
SECURITY MANAGEMENT
Supports the Logistics Coordinator in defining a framework for the use of technical equipment and ensures that teams are trained in safety-related technical means.
In link with his/her line manager, ensures that defined IT security procedures are known and applied on the base.
Contributes to the identification of risks and vulnerabilities and to the implementation of risk mitigation measures (technical solutions, SOPs, etc.), and shares security-related information arising from its activities.
If required, it contributes to security assessments of routes, environment, and infrastructures available in new areas of operation.
Contributes to updating safety-related documents on logistical aspects.
MANAGEMENT
Responsible for the proper implementation of HR policies among team members he/she has to his/her charge.
Processes in order to ensure that he/she has both the number of people and the amount of knowledge. required for the activities for which he/she is responsible.
Analyzes, quantifies and qualifies the human resources needs of his/her team.
Recruits and ensures the integration of the team under his/her responsibility.
Evaluates the performance of his/her team members.
Trains and coaches team members if needed.
Leads and communicates with his/her team members.
REPORTING
Supports the Logistics Coordinator in guaranteeing the quality of monthly monitoring data for the coordination office and the two operational bases.
Draws up and analyzes monthly logistics indicators in conjunction with the Logistics Coordinator.
INTERNAL CONTROL
Responsible for the conformity of documents he/she produces
FILING & ARCHIVING
FIGHT AGAINST ABUSE
Creates and actively contributes to a work environment that prevents inappropriate behavior.
Participates in communicating with the existence of SI's ethical framework.
Respects at all times the protection of information exchanged in the context of a report and its processing.
This list is not exhaustive, and other related tasks (within the scope of the position) may be assigned at the request of the line manager.

Experience: minimum, 2 years' experience in logistics , experience in NGO is an asset. Experience in facility management, storage, IT or related field is valuable. .
Languages: English professional working, fluent in Arabic
Skills:
High proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office365 (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), data backup and recovery tools, network management, mobile communications, and hardware troubleshooting.
High organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Strong adherence to procedures and rules.
Knowledge of maintenance, or electricity is an asset.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
