الوصف الوظيفي:- Coordinating implementation of project activities across assigned geographic areas, ensuring alignment with the project’s technical approach on water access, climate-smart agriculture, and livelihoods development.
- Supervising and mentoring Field Officers, ensuring that technical guidance and follow-up support provided to households and community groups meets project standards.
- Overseeing the rollout of training programs and practical demonstrations on climate-smart practices including home gardens, water-efficient irrigation techniques, rainwater harvesting systems, and domestic water recycling solutions.
- Ensuring effective implementation of women and youth income-generating activities (IGAs) by coordinating technical training by the external experts, contracted by RWDS, providing needed coaching and follow-up to support women and youth groups receiving conditional cash grants for income-generating activities, including guidance on procurement of inputs, enterprise start-up, and basic financial management.
- Overseeing the process for identification and selection of beneficiary households and women and youth groups, ensuring transparency and alignment with project targeting criteria.
- Providing follow up at the community level to ensure conditional cash assistance is being used for the purposes articulated in agreements with selected households that will enable them to install small-scale infrastructure such as water storage tanks, rainwater harvesting systems, or greywater recycling systems. This includes ensuring that:
- Households receive appropriate technical orientation and training prior to receiving cash assistance;
- Conditional cash transfers are linked to approved technical designs and installation plans;
Field Officers verify the proper use of funds for installation of systems and livelihood inputs.
- Ensuring that households and groups supported through conditional cash grants for IGAs or productive assets receive adequate coaching on financial planning, procurement of materials, and appropriate use of funds.
- Organizing field visits, learning exchanges, and community learning events to promote peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and dissemination of successful practices.
- Supporting community mobilization and engagement of participating households, community councils, and local institutions to ensure strong participation and local ownership.
- Monitoring progress of activities and addressing implementation challenges in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Supporting monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes by ensuring accurate data collection, documentation of results, and reporting of lessons learned from pilot interventions in close coordination with the MEAL Officer.
- Coordinating with local authorities, extension agents, and community leaders to facilitate implementation and sustainability of project interventions.
متطلبات الوظيفة:- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, International Development, Community Development, Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in project coordination or related roles, preferably within NGOs or donor-funded projects.
- Proven experience in field-level project coordination and implementation support within development or humanitarian programs, from planning through execution and reporting.
- Experience in sectors such as:
Water access and management
Climate-smart agriculture
Livelihoods and community development
- Demonstrated experience in supervising and supporting field staff (e.g., Field Officers and community-based workers), including providing technical guidance and follow-up.
- Strong experience in community engagement, mobilization, and working closely with local stakeholders, including community leaders and local authorities.
- Experience in data collection, basic monitoring and evaluation activities, and contributing to donor reporting and documentation of results.
- Strong coordination experience with implementing partners and technical teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of project activities.
