SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an international humanitarian NGO which, for more than 40 years, has been providing assistance to populations affected by armed conflicts and natural disasters by meeting their vital needs for food, water and shelter. Particularly involved in the fight against diseases linked to unsafe water, the first cause of death in the world, SI's interventions provide expertise in the field of access to drinking water, sanitation and hygiene promotion, but also in the essential area of food security and livelihoods. Present in around twenty countries, SI's teams - 2000 people in total made up of expatriates, national staff, permanent staff at headquarters, and a few volunteers - work with professionalism and commitment while respecting cultures.

About the position
Job title: : Supply Supervisor
Post location: East Jerusalem
Starting date: 1st April 2026
Contract duration: 9 months renewable according to funding
Job Summary:
The Supply Supervisor is in charge of purchasing for all the departments in his/her base (programme, logistics, support, etc.) in compliance with Solidarités International procedures.
He ensures that purchasing procedures are rigorously applied, in conjunction with his direct manager.
He is responsible for filing and archiving all documents relating to purchases.

MARKET KNOWLEDGE AND MONITORING
Participates in analyzing the purchasing environment of the local market
Updates the price list and supplier file.
PREPARATION OF PURCHASES
Prepares, validates and processes of purchase orders in compliance with the organization's procedures.
Negotiates prices, lead times and delivery terms
Ensures that quotations and invoices are in the correct format and contain the correct information
Take part in monitoring relations with suppliers.
Participates in the link between programs and logistics and monitors requirements on a weekly basis
Ensure compliance with administrative procedures for managing advances and paying suppliers.
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PURCHASING PROCESS
Processes requests for quotations and BCIs in accordance with the procedures in force.
Implements purchases in compliance with Solidarités International procedures, from the needs analysis to the selection of suppliers and goods.
Ensures that the products purchased meet the requestor's requirements in terms of quantity and quality.
Compiles and archives purchasing files in accordance with the organization's and donors' rules and procedures.
REPORTING
Takes part in meetings between the logistics and programme departments to identify priorities.
Keeps track of purchase order data and informs the manager of the progress of order processing.
Shares reports with all logistics department staff and technical teams.
INTERNAL CONTROL
Responsible for the conformity of the documents he produces
PARTNERSHIP
May contribute, in line with their role and responsibilities, to the verification of SI implementation partners.
May contribute to the implementation of a plan to support and strengthen SI partners.
May participate in the control requirements for partners' actions in line with their role and responsibilities.
FILING & ARCHIVING
Responsible for the filing and archiving of documents produced in accordance with internal procedures
FIGHT AGAINST ABUSE
Creates and actively contributes to a working environment that prevents inappropriate behavior.
Participates in communicating with the existence of SI's ethical framework.
Respects at all times the protection of information exchanged in the context of a report and its processing.
Implements measures to mitigate the risk of abuse.

متطلبات الوظيفة:Studies: Bachelor or equivalent, in supply chain or logistics
Experience: 1 to 2 years' experience in this technical field, preferably in the humanitarian field.
Languages: English professional working, fluent in arabic
Skills:
Ensure compliance with logistics procedures for the management of supplies
Good oral and written communication skills in English
Genuine commitment to the principles and work of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL.
Previous experience with an international or local organization operating in Gaza strip
Ability to work autonomously and under stress.
Good reactivity and reporting skills.
Good knowledge of Office pack – Word, Power Point and Excel
Strong adherence to procedures and rules
Candidate must have access to Jerusalem
