About the program
Jabal An-Nar Club, as part of the English Access Scholarship Program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, announces the opening of applications for the preparatory phase of selecting and training the program staff. The program will be implemented in Nablus and Tubas in cooperation with partner organizations, which are Seeds Association for Development and Culture, Witness Center for Citizen Rights and Community Development and  Tubas Sports Club (YDRC),  that are hosting the implementation learning sites.

Jabal An-Nar Club, , Tubas, as part of the English Access Scholarship Program Sponsored by the US Department of State, ​​announces the opening of applications for the preparatory phase of selecting and training the program staff. The program will be implemented in Nablus and Tubas in cooperation with partner organizations hosting the implementation learning sites.

The program targets 200 adolescents aged 14 to 15 across four training sites. Each participant receives 100 instructional hours focused on English language and communication skills, together with leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, creativity, problem solving and community engagement, delivered through interactive, learner-centered methods.

The preparatory phase includes a Training of Trainers (ToT) of 50 to 60 hours for teachers, teacher assistants and program staff. It focuses on TESOL principles and methods and on developing and applying 21st-century skills in teaching. The aim is to equip participants with the tools and methodologies needed to deliver interactive, learner-centered education suited to the needs of the target age group.

Implementation sites
If selected, applicants must be ready to work at one of the following sites:

- Jabal An-Nar Club, Nablus

- Seeds Association for Development and Culture, Nablus

- Witness Center for Citizen Rights and Community Development, Nablus

- Tubas Sports Club (YDRC), Tubas
متطلبات الوظيفة:
English Language Teacher track

A university degree in English Language, English Literature, Education, or a field related to English language teaching.
An advanced level of English suited to the teaching requirements of the program.
Preferrable to have two years to three years of practical experience teaching English, especially with the target age group.
Ability to use interactive, communicative, learner-centered teaching methods.
Strong skills in communication, classroom or group management, and working with adolescents of the target age group.
Priority to applicants with previous experience in non-formal education, interactive learning, or youth-focused programs.
Teacher Assistant Track

A university degree, or advanced-year student status, in English, Education or a related field is preferred.
A level of English that allows the applicant to support learning sessions and activities.
Good skills in communication, facilitation and working with adolescents.
Ability to support interactive activities and group work and to follow up with participants.
Willingness to learn, develop professionally and work within a multi-role team.
Priority to applicants with previous experience working with adolescents or in educational and youth activities.
English level, motivation and commitment, relevant experience, communication and facilitation skills, and performance during the ToT will all be taken into account.

General Required Commitments
Full attendance of the ToT (50 to 60 hours) no less than 8 to 10 training days.
Active participation in activities, practical applications and assessments during the training.
Readiness to work at one of the program sites in Nablus or Tubas if selected.
Commitment to the program schedule and to the requirements of the assigned role.
Readiness to take part in program-related training and professional development activities.

Selection process
Application → Initial screening → Interviews → ToT → Practical assessment → Final selection and role assignment

Alongside interviews, the assessment may include short teaching demonstrations, practical activities and micro-teaching, and lesson plans or samples of previous work where needed. Participants will also be assessed during the ToT on attendance, participation, practical performance and readiness to deliver the program.

Recruitment and selection of English teachers will be coordinated with the U.S. Embassy or Consulate, including its participation in interviews and the final selection of teachers, in line with Access Program guidelines.How to apply
