الوصف الوظيفي:
(ToR) -Youth Leadership and Project Management Trainer

The Society of St. Yves, in partnership with Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Centre and with the support of the European Union, is implementing the project "Bridges of Change: Empowering Young Leaders to Strengthen Social Cohesion in East Jerusalem."

The project aims to strengthen social cohesion, civic engagement, volunteerism, and community participation by empowering Palestinian youth in East Jerusalem with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to become active community leaders capable of designing and implementing initiatives that respond to local needs.

As part of the project, approximately 30 Youth Leaders aged 18–35 will participate in the Youth Leadership and Project Management Program, an intensive training program designed to strengthen leadership, project management, civic engagement, volunteer management, and community organizing skills.

The program combines interactive learning, practical workshops, group exercises, and project design activities to enable participants to become effective community leaders who can plan, implement, and manage initiatives that strengthen social cohesion in East Jerusalem.

The trainer(s) will be responsible for:

Designing and delivering the assigned training modules.
Preparing training curricula, agendas, presentations, participant handouts, and learning materials.
Delivering interactive training sessions using participatory learning methodologies.
Facilitating discussions, simulations, case studies, role plays, and practical exercises.
Supporting participants in strengthening their leadership and project management skills.
Introducing participants to Project Cycle Management (PCM).
Guiding participants through community needs assessments.
Supporting participants in developing realistic community initiatives.
Providing coaching and mentoring throughout the program.
Monitoring attendance and participant engagement.
Coordinating regularly with the project team.
Ensuring an inclusive, respectful, and safe learning environment.
Complying with safeguarding and confidentiality policies.
متطلبات الوظيفة:
Applicants should:

Hold at least a bachelor's degree in Community Development, Project Management, Social Sciences, Political Science, Education, Public Administration, Business Administration, or another relevant field. A master's degree is considered an asset.
Have at least three (3) years of experience delivering leadership, project management, or capacity-building programs.
Demonstrate practical experience in Project Cycle Management (PCM), civic engagement, volunteer management, or community development.
Have experience working with youth aged 18–35.
Demonstrate strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
Have experience using participatory training methodologies.
Demonstrate a good understanding of the East Jerusalem context.
Be fluent in Arabic. Knowledge of English is considered an asset.
