About the Organization
The Palestinian Center for Child Rights (PCCR) is an independent, non-governmental Palestinian organization established in 2025 with the mission to promote and protect child rights in the occupied Palestinian territory. Operating across the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, PCCR functions as a specialized entity utilizing a human rights-based approach to address violations against children. The center drives legal action, advocacy, and accountability based on national and international legal frameworks, primarily the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
PCCR aims to safeguard children who are most vulnerable to severe and systemic rights violations in the occupied Palestinian territory, particularly those impacted by conflict, detention, violence, discrimination, and structural exclusion. Operating at local, national, and international levels, the center employs an integrated model that combines direct socio-legal support for children with systemic advocacy and accountability efforts, effectively bridging individual child protection with structural, rights-respecting change.
