Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. As part of our commitment to meeting the growing needs of the communities we serve, we're expanding our team.

MAP is seeking a People and Culture Assistant (P&C) to support the delivery of effective P&C services across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment coordination, onboarding and offboarding, and employee support, while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.


The role serves as a point of contact for P&C queries across the employee lifecycle and provides administrative support across P&C processes, including maintaining accurate, GDPR-compliant employee records and documentation. The postholder will also support HR data administration, audit preparation, and employee relations documentation, contributing to efficient P&C operations and a well-organised workplace.

**This position is offered on a fixed-term basis for 9 months as maternity cover.

The ideal candidate should ensure efficient P&C processes and accurate record-keeping across the employee lifecycle. The candidate should have a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, solid experience across HR functions, preferably within the INGO or charity sector, and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills in both Arabic and English, with proficiency in HR systems, recruitment platforms, and MS Office.
