Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a UK-registered charity working to improve access to quality healthcare for Palestinian communities affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. MAP delivers emergency medical interventions while strengthening local clinical capacity to support a resilient and sustainable health system. In close coordination with MOH and national partners, MAP supports standardized trauma care training aligned with internationally recognized guidelines, including those of the PTC Foundation.
In reference to the project titled “Beyond Health: diritto alla salute e protezione di bambini, giovani e adulti vulnerabili nel governatorato di Nablus,” which is funded by Fondazione AVSI, MAP plans to conduct three First Aid courses in Beita village and the surrounding areas.
Objective
MAP is seeking a qualified provider to build essential first aid knowledge and practical emergency response skills among community members, enabling them to provide immediate assistance in emergency situations until professional medical care is available.
Training Overview
Location: Beita Municipality Hall, Nablus
Number of Courses: 3 training courses
Participants per Course: 25 participants (total 75 participants)
Target Group: Community members from Beita and surrounding villages
Duration: Each course will be conducted over 3 consecutive days (approximately 21 training hours per course)
Language: Arabic
متطلبات الوظيفة:Scope of Work (Trainer Responsibilities)
The trainer is expected to:
Deliver interactive and practical first aid training sessions combining theory and hands-on exercises
Cover key topics including:
CPR and basic life support
Bleeding control and wound care
Burns, fractures, and sprains
Emergency response to common injuries and incidents
Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to measure knowledge improvement
Facilitate active participation through simulations and practical exercises
Ensure full attendance tracking
Provide certificates of completion to participants who successfully complete the course
Submit a brief report after each training, including attendance, test results, and key observations
Complete MAP’s online safeguarding training via KayaConnect.org and submit a valid certificate.
Trainer Qualifications
Certified First Aid Trainer with a valid accreditation (e.g., PRCS, Red Cross, recognized health body)
Minimum of 3 years of experience delivering First Aid training in community or humanitarian contexts
Experience in low-resource or rural settings, particularly with vulnerable communities
Arabic fluency (spoken and written); English is an asset for reporting
Strong facilitation, communication, and cultural sensitivity skills
Monitoring & Evaluation
Training effectiveness will be assessed through:
Pre- and post-test results
Participant attendance and completion rates
Participant feedback
Trainer reporting
MAP staff may conduct spot checks and/or attend part of the training to ensure quality assurance.

Ethical Considerations
All coordinators and trainers engaged under this ToR must adhere to MAP’s safeguarding policy, ethical guidelines, and code of conduct. Completion of MAP’s safeguarding online training via kayaconnect.org and submission of the completion certificate are mandatory prior to training delivery.

The trainer must submit a payment request to MAP, along with a valid deduction at source (شهادة خصم مصدر). If the supplier cannot provide the requested certificate, MAP will deduct 10% of the total amount offered.
