الوصف الوظيفي:
Job Title:  Cleaner 

Organisation:  Council for British Research in the Levant (CBRL) 

Reports to:  CBRL Director 

Location:  CBRL Kenyon Institute, 32 Mount of Olives Road, Sheikh Jarrah, East  Jerusalem. 

Contract Type:  Permanent. 

Hours:  Part time. Four hours every week on Sunday morning (10am – 2pm) 

Salary:  45 NIS per hour (gross)

Start date:  As soon as possible.  

About CBRL 
The Council for British Research in the Levant (CBRL) is a learned society working with the countries, peoples and societies of the Levant to advance public education through promoting and disseminating research in the humanities, social sciences and related subjects. CBRL operates two institutes in the region: The Kenyon Institute in Jerusalem and The Amman Institute, both of which have libraries and extensive archives.  
 
Job description 
Responsibilities 
Cleaning and sanitising the Kenyon Institute, specifically the bathroom and toilet facilities, the library and public areas. 
Cleaning after events have taken place. 
Assisting with organising materials and spaces as requested. 
Any other ad hoc duties which relate to keeping the Kenyon Institute clean, safe and accessible for staff and the public to use.

Good communication skills  
Professional cleaning experience 
Ability to work well with others and take direction 
Ability to stay calm in situations which may be stressful
