Program Overview:
The "Innovate-NA in Jerusalem" program, implemented by Al Nayzak, aims to address the systemic educational and career challenges faced by youth and women in East Jerusalem. This innovative program focuses on: Capacity Building for CBOs to create localized, sustainable solutions and eliminate participation barriers.
Skill Development for Youth and Women in 21st-century skills, entrepreneurship, technology, and critical thinking to foster a community-wide ripple effect of positive change.
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to lead this impactful program, ensuring effective implementation, monitoring, and coordination across stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all project activities in alignment with program goals, including engagement with relevant partners and other key stakeholders.
Readiness to conduct field visits and attend workshops and meetings related to the project all over Jerusalem Governorate.
Coordinate with the selected Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) to build their capacities and facilitate their involvement in the program.
Monitor and support trainers, beneficiaries, and CBOs to ensure successful delivery of training sessions and program objectives.
Organize and conduct orientation sessions in line with Al Nayzak's guidelines.
Ensure project documentation is in order and in line with the policies and procedures of AlNayzak and the donor.
Regularly track and report on program progress, challenges, and outcomes to Al Nayzak’s internal team.
Assist in the integration of E-systems and other technological tools for CBO capacity building.
Ensure efficient resource allocation, including hiring expert trainers and managing program logistics.
Support in organizing training sessions, workshops, and field visits as required.
Lead Profound Stress Attunement (PSA) campaigns to effectively engage and support the wider community.
Ensure effective communications, visibility, and knowledge management within partners and beneficiaries.
Ensure, through regular and full/random verification, that partners collect accurate and precise data as per M&E guidelines and donors’ requirements.
Facilitate the procurement of goods/services including the initiation of purchase orders, participate in preparing the technical specifications and guidelines for bids and participate in the bidding committee.
Smooth access and driving between Jerusalem and Ramallah.
Any other duties as assigned by the direct line Manager.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, Education, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in community development or capacity-building initiatives.
Strong understanding of the social, cultural, and economic challenges in East Jerusalem.
Excellent coordination and communication skills, with experience in multi-stakeholder programs.
Proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
Tech-savvy, with experience in promoting and implementing 21st-century skills development.
Proven experience in working with marginalized groups, including youth and women, is a strong advantage
