The Role

The West Bank community engagement and outreach officer will be a key member of Oxfam’s Economic Justice team in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and Israel (OPTI), supporting global and national advocacy efforts under the Economic Justice Programme. Their role focuses on empowering marginalized Palestinians to safeguard their rights and achieve greater, gender-equitable control over their lives and resources through meaningful community engagement, advocacy for equitable resource access, and strengthening partnerships at local and national levels
متطلبات الوظيفة:
We are looking for someone who has:

A good level qualification, and advanced university degree in Political science, social work, communications, journalism, law, human rights, or development.
At least 5 years experience in mobilization, fostering collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
Ability to design campaigns, create materials, and adapt complex issues for diverse audiences.
Expertise in influencing financial policies and facilitating stakeholder consultations.
Strong writing, editing, and digital media skills in English and Arabic.
Ability to organize workshops and enhance leadership and public participation skills.
Research proficiency, strategic thinking, and results-oriented mindset.
Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and gender equity.
Strong networking, negotiation, and teamwork abilities.

What we offer
The employee will be contracted by Oxfam with a competitive, fair and comprehensive pay and benefits package that is justifiable to our donors. Basic salary starts at 63,472 ILS gross per annum, for a 20-hour contract. The salary offered will be subject to funding available and competence.
