Position: Health Worker

Type: Full-time, On-site

Location: West Bank, Palestine (Ramallah/Nablus)

Salary: ₪2,680 - ₪4,020 / month

Reporting to: Mobile Team General Physician

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. As part of our commitment to meeting the growing needs of the communities we serve, we're expanding our team.

MAP is seeking a Health Worker who will be responsible for developing and implementing health awareness plans for mobile clinic communities, focusing on general health issues. Responsibilities include building community networks, conducting health education sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of these sessions using appropriate tools. The role involves distributing prescribed medications, explaining their usage, and providing individual health information and education to patients as needed.
متطلبات الوظيفة:
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in health education or a related field, with a valid license to provide Health related services in the West Bank. And a strong background in public and community health services. Experience in a mobile clinic setting is preferred, along with familiarity in child protection, working with vulnerable individuals, and case management. A degree in nursing, public health, or a related field from an accredited institution is required. The candidate must be willing to travel and work within the West Bank, and should be proficient in both spoken and written English and Arabic is necessary.
