الوصف الوظيفي:
Develop and implement the R&D strategy, annual plans, and budget in alignment with company goals and national health priorities.
Set quality objectives, KPIs, and work procedures (SOPs) for the department, and monitor their achievement.
Lead, motivate, and evaluate R&D staff, ensuring adherence to policies, safety standards, and ethical guidelines.
Design, develop, and optimize new and improved pharmaceutical products using modern techniques (e.g., QBD, DOE).
Manage scale-up activities and technology transfer from R&D to production, including pre-exhibit and exhibit batches.
Prepare and submit regulatory registration files to local and international authorities.
Oversee stability studies, data analysis, and shelf-life determination to ensure product quality and patient safety.
Establish partnerships with academic institutions to foster innovation and knowledge sharing.
Lead risk assessment, root-cause investigations, and CAPA for any deviations or out-of-specification results.
Ensure full compliance with GLP, GMP, and all applicable regulatory requirements throughout development.
Manage R&D resources efficiently, including budget, equipment, materials, and external contracts.
Prepare monthly progress reports, hold regular team meetings, and coordinate with commercial and production teams to ensure market alignment.
متطلبات الوظيفة:
Education: PhD or master’s degree in pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline. An MBA or equivalent management qualification is highly desirable.
Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in a senior R&D management role overseeing formulation development, regulatory affairs, and technology transfer.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of GLP, GMP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory submission processes (local and international).
Strategic & Business Acumen: Proven ability to develop and execute R&D strategies, manage budgets, build product portfolios, and align research with commercial objectives.
Leadership & People Development: Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring, and evaluating multidisciplinary R&D teams, with a focus on building a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Project Management: Strong project management skills with a record of delivering complex development projects on time and within budget.
Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of local (Ministry of Health – Palestine) and international regulatory requirements, including dossier preparation (CTD/eCTD format).
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, public speaking, and presentation skills in both Arabic and English, with the ability to represent the company in scientific and regulatory forums.
Problem-Solving & Risk Management: Strong analytical skills with experience in root-cause analysis, CAPA, FMEA, and data-driven decision-making.
