Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a UK-registered charity working to improve access to quality healthcare for Palestinian communities affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. MAP delivers emergency medical interventions while strengthening local clinical capacity to support a resilient and sustainable health system. In close coordination with MOH and national partners, MAP supports standardized trauma care training aligned with internationally recognized guidelines, including those of the PTC Foundation.
In reference to the project titled “Beyond Health: diritto alla salute e protezione di bambini, giovani e adulti vulnerabili nel governatorato di Nablus,” which is funded by Fondazione AVSI, MAP plans to conduct 5 PTC courses in the Nablus area, according to the criteria listed below.
Objective:
The objective of this assignment is to ensure high-quality planning, coordination, and delivery of five PTC Provider Courses in Nablus, in full compliance with PTC Foundation standards, thereby strengthening trauma care capacity within the emergency health system.
Training details:
The PTC Provider Courses aim to strengthen participants’ competencies in trauma care through a standardized, structured approach to trauma assessment and management, in line with PTC Foundation principles. Each course will be conducted over two days and will target approximately 15 healthcare workers involved in emergency and trauma care. The methodology is highly interactive, featuring structured lectures, skills stations, and scenario-based simulations. Participant performance will be assessed , and successful participants will receive PTC Provider certification upon completion of the course.
متطلبات الوظيفة:4. PTC Course Coordinator Responsibilities
The Course Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, quality assurance, and reporting for all five PTC Provider Courses. Key responsibilities include:
Liaising with the PTC Foundation regarding curriculum use, training standards, and reporting requirements
Planning and coordinating the delivery of five PTC Provider Courses (10 training days total)
Recruiting and coordinating qualified PTC Trainers (minimum three trainers per course)
Ensuring all trainings are delivered in full compliance with PTC Foundation standards and course structure
Ensuring the availability, functionality, and appropriate setup of all required PTC training equipment, including trauma simulation manikins
Overseeing pre- and post-course assessments and training documentation
Preparing and submitting a consolidated training report covering all five courses, including attendance, evaluation results, challenges, and recommendations.
Adhering to MAP safeguarding policies, ethical standards, and code of conduct and completing Safeguarding training on Kayaconnect.org and submitting a completion certificate to MAP before the start of the training.
PTC Trainer(s) Responsibilities
PTC Trainers will be responsible for the technical delivery of the courses in accordance with PTC Foundation standards. Their responsibilities include:
Delivering the PTC Provider Courses using approved PTC Foundation training materials and methodologies
Facilitating lectures, skills stations, and scenario-based simulations
Assessing participant performance using competency-based evaluation tools
Ensuring participants meet course completion and certification criteria
Contributing technical input to the post-training report
Adhering to MAP safeguarding policies, ethical standards, and code of conduct and completing Safeguarding training on Kayaconnect.org and submitting a completion certificate to MAP before the start of the training.
Qualifications:
Course Coordinator
Certified by the PTC Foundation as a Course Director or Trainer
Demonstrated experience coordinating and managing trauma or emergency care trainings
Strong background in trauma and emergency medical care
Proven experience in coordinating multi-day trainings and managing trainers and logistics
Fluency in Arabic and strong verbal and written communication skills in English
PTC Trainer(s)
Proven experience in delivering trauma and emergency care trainings
Strong clinical background in trauma and emergency response
Ability to deliver interactive, simulation-based training

Ethical Considerations
All coordinators and trainers engaged under this ToR must adhere to MAP’s safeguarding policy, ethical guidelines, and code of conduct. Completion of MAP’s safeguarding online training via kayaconnect.org and submission of the completion certificate are mandatory prior to training delivery.

The trainer must submit a payment request to MAP, along with a valid deduction at source (شهادة خصم مصدر). If the supplier cannot provide the requested certificate, MAP will deduct 10% of the total amount offered.
