Action Against Hunger (ACF) is a humanitarian, non-governmental, non-political, non-denominational and non-profit making organization working in the Palestinian Territory since 2002.

Action Against Hunger is recruiting for its Jenin office a

 North Office Support

For a period of 12 months with possibility of extension

General Objective:
The overall responsibility is to contribute, as responsible, to the maintenance of a clean and healthy environment in the Action Against Hunger office and Warehouse in the North office and supporting in performing the driver’ tasks.

Key Activities:
Objective 1: Office and Warehouse cleaning

Tasks:
Perform cleaning tasks for both the office of the organization and the warehouse as required: cleaning, washing, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, and cleaning designated areas according to required standards.
Keep the kitchen area tidy by ensuring all dining utensils and shelves are washed, and kitchen surfaces are kept clean.
Carefully clean all toilets, showers, bathrooms, and mirrors using disinfectant cleaning products, removing all dirt and dust.
Sweep and wash all floors inside office rooms and the guesthouse at least three times a week, including hallways, rooms, bathrooms, reception areas, entrances, and kitchens.
Empty trash bins and other containers, and transport waste to designated areas.
Always ensure the stock of hygiene supplies in designated areas.
Clean work surfaces and other furniture as directed, including kitchens and kitchen equipment.
Clean up after workshops and meetings.
Follow up and report on necessary cleaning supplies for both the office and the guesthouse.
Wash and clean windows weekly.
Vacuum and clean carpets, doormats, and small rugs.
Report breakages, damages, or safety issues for repair in the office.
Report any irregularity in the functioning of the kitchen or toilets to the office support and case of the absence to the logistic department.
Related duties assigned by management (Supervisor)
 
Objective 2: Other logistics tasks/support as needed.

Tasks:
Perform all the driver's tasks when requested.
Follow up North premises maintenance and repair needs.
Assist in the office supplies and direct purchases
Deliver and collect quotes for direct procurement.
متطلبات الوظيفة:
Secondary education or equivalent; vocational training in cleaning, maintenance, or logistics is an asset.
Minimum 2 years of experience in premises maintenance or logistics support, preferably with an NGO or international organization.
Basic knowledge of hygiene standards, cleaning materials, and maintenance premises.
Practical skills in premises rehabilitation, including electrical work, plumbing, masonry, and minor repairs.
Experience or basic knowledge of procurement processes is an advantage.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Knowledge of humanitarian or emergency programming is a plus.
Fluent in Arabic; basic English is an asset.
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) are an advantage.
Willingness and ability to travel and drive within the West Bank, including overnight stays when required.
Due to operational and security needs, preference may be given to candidates living in Al Zababdeh or surrounding areas, who can ensure timely presence at the office when required.
