2.   Position Summary
Juzoor is seeking an experienced Project Manager – WASH (PMW) to lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) projects. Under the supervision of the Juzoor-assigned officer, the PMW will ensure effective project delivery in compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and international humanitarian standards.

The position requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to work independently in complex and high-pressure humanitarian and development contexts.

3. Key Responsibilities
This position is geared towards supporting the implementation under the BMZ project.
This position reflects the overall responsibility for project delivery, including decision-making authority and accountability.
The tasks under this project include budget management, including monitoring expenditures against activities.
This position also includes project representation responsibilities with stakeholders and donors.
This position includes risk management and team supervision responsibilities, and the involvement in project related procurements. 

3.1 WASH Project Management
Manage assigned WASH projects to achieve objectives within approved budgets and timelines.
Lead project implementation from initiation to closure, including risk identification and mitigation.
Conduct WASH needs assessments and contribute to project design and proposal development.
Define project objectives, indicators, and work plans in collaboration with WASH staff, field managers, and communities.
Ensure beneficiary participation, accountability, and inclusion throughout project implementation.
Prepare timely and accurate narrative and financial progress reports.
3.2 Technical Oversight and Quality Assurance
Oversee technical design, execution, and monitoring of WASH activities using qualitative and quantitative data.
Ensure compliance with Juzoor procedures, donor requirements, and international standards, including Sphere Standards and HAP/CHS principles.
Promote continuous quality improvement and best practices in WASH service delivery.
3.3 Staff Management and Capacity Building
Line-manage WASH project staff, including supervision, coaching, performance management, and appraisals.
Facilitate regular team meetings to ensure effective communication, coordination, and feedback.
Identify training needs and support capacity-building of WASH staff and partners.
3.4 Financial and Administrative Management
Monitor project financial performance, including disbursement planning, forecasting, budget revisions, and expenditure control.
Coordinate with the Administration and Finance Department to ensure compliance with internal financial procedures.
Maintain updated expenditure tracking and financial records for assigned projects.
3.5 Coordination, Logistics, and Representation
Liaise and coordinate with internal departments, implementing partners, local authorities, UN agencies, NGOs, and community stakeholders.
Participate in WASH coordination meetings and working groups, representing Juzoor.
Support logistics and procurement processes related to WASH supplies and equipment.
Oversee logistical arrangements for trainings, workshops, events, study tours, and travel.
3.6 Communication and Visibility
Review and oversee the development of awareness and information materials related to WASH projects in coordination with the Marketing and Communications Senior Manager.
Maintain and update databases for trainings, events, and participants.
4.   Required Qualifications and Experience
BSc or MSc in Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Geology, or a related field.
Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in WASH project management, preferably in the Palestinian context.
Proven experience managing WASH projects in humanitarian or development settings.
Strong knowledge of Sphere Standards, HAP/CHS, and humanitarian accountability principles.
Demonstrated experience in staff supervision, mentoring, and capacity building.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Ability and willingness to travel within the West Bank and Gaza as required.

6. Working Hours
Working days: Monday to Thursday and Saturday
Working hours: 08:00 – 16:00, with flexibility coordinated with the supervisor
Official weekends: Friday and Sunday
