2.   Position Summary
Juzoor is seeking a qualified and committed Social Worker to support the implementation of community-based social and psychosocial interventions. The Social Worker will work closely with health professionals, community actors, and partner organizations to assess needs, provide case management, conduct outreach activities, and strengthen access to services for vulnerable individuals and families.

The position requires strong field presence, professional judgment, and adherence to safeguarding and ethical standards.

3.   Key Responsibilities
3.1 Social Work and Case Management
Provide case management services, including assessment, follow-up, documentation, and referral to specialized internal and external services.
Conduct home and community visits to assess psychosocial, protection, and social support needs of individuals and families.
Prepare regular case progress reports and ensure timely referrals in line with established protocols.
3.2 Community Outreach and Engagement
Implement community-wide outreach activities and events targeting women, children, youth, men, and persons with disabilities.
Mobilize community participation and support for Juzoor’s community-based projects and interventions.
Coordinate with other Juzoor programmes to improve access of targeted communities to available services.
3.3 Monitoring, Assessment, and Reporting
Conduct frequent field visits to monitor conditions in communities at risk and carry out rapid assessments as required.
Collect and document beneficiary data using multiple sources (direct observation, community structures, CSOs, etc.).
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
Participate in surveys, studies, and evaluations related to Juzoor’s thematic interventions.
3.4 Coordination and Capacity Building
Maintain effective working relationships with partners, stakeholders, and service providers.
Participate in trainings, workshops, and meetings aimed at strengthening professional knowledge and skills.
Support orientation or training of newly recruited Social Workers when required.
Other Duties
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Project Manager in support of programme objectives.
4.   Required Qualifications and Experience
University degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Guidance and Counselling, Social Anthropology, or a related field.
Minimum three (3) years of experience providing social work, psychosocial support, or counselling in development or humanitarian programmes
(or two (2) years with a master’s degree).
Strong facilitation, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
Experience in community-based programming and outreach activities.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and community settings.

7.   Working Conditions
Flexible working hours coordinated with the supervisor
Official weekend: Friday and Saturday
