Number of Positions Available: 2
Location: Ramallah, with field visits to West Bank
Duration: Full-time, 9 months with possibility of extension for one year or more (based on performance and project needs)
About WATC
The Women’s Affairs Technical Committee (WATC) is a national coalition of feminist frameworks established in 1992. WATC works to democratize and advance societal values by advocating for Palestinian women’s rights, promoting gender equality, and enhancing women’s and youth’s political, social, and economic participation.
Main Responsibilities
The Project Coordinator will coordinate and implement WATC’s project activities, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and donor requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities per WATC’s strategic goals.
Coordinate training workshops, advocacy campaigns, and community initiatives with youth and women participants.
Ensure gender mainstreaming and youth participation in all project components.
Organize and facilitate dialogues with municipalities, decision-makers, and community actors.
Maintain effective communication with donors, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Supervise project staff, volunteers, and consultants engaged in project delivery.
Prepare progress reports, success stories, and documentation of project outcomes.
Ensure adherence to WATC’s safeguarding, data protection, and confidentiality policies.
Support the project's visibility through media outreach, publications, and digital campaigns, in accordance with WATC’s communication policies.
Participate in WATC’s broader initiatives, coalitions, and advocacy efforts to strengthen women’s rights and youth leadership.
متطلبات الوظيفة:Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, gender studies, development, English, international, or a related field (a master’s degree is an asset).
At least 3–5 years of experience in project coordination/management within NGOs or civil society.
Proven experience in youth and women empowerment, gender equality, and advocacy.
Strong skills in report writing, monitoring & evaluation, and donor compliance.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience in working with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Strong computer skills (MS Office, digital communication tools).
