الوصف الوظيفي:Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator, reporting directly to the Regional Humanitarian Projects Manager, will efficiently implement humanitarian response and small community initiatives in the West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon, and Jordan. Their duties include coordinating field activities, providing technical assistance and training to project teams, and addressing capacity gaps.
The Project coordinator's role is pivotal in ensuring effective project implementation, stakeholder engagement, and capacity enhancement in the designated regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to crafting and refining detailed work plans for humanitarian and community projects.
Regularly monitor budget utilization and ensure timely reporting.
Contribute to the development of monitoring systems to track project progress and address any obstacles.
Document successful strategies and share key insights.
Foster positive relationships with local authorities, partners, and stakeholders.
Collaborate with the project development team to identify new opportunities and maintain donor visibility.
Offer guidance and support to field staff, including the development of standard procedures.
Fulfill any other tasks delegated by management.
Enter project data into the system accurately and on time.
Prepare and submit payment requests with required documentation.
Conduct fieldwork to complete tasks according to pre-established plans.
Program Management and Implementation:
Responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of the projects, including risk assessment and management, and leads the coordination between partners.
Identify and prioritize programmatic needs and ensure that the project/s address those needs..
Ensures compliance with the PCRF rules and regulations in all areas, including financial management, record keeping, and procurement, in coordination with the Operations Department.
Ensures appropriate program quality standards are used in the design and implementation of the project/s.
Provides feedback to the coordinators and partners to determine programmatic changes in response to the results of monitoring and evaluation.
Collects and consolidates narrative reports.
Conducts site visits to monitor progress and provide capacity support to partners as needed.
Undertakes other related duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Head of Projects or Operations Director.
Coordinating the opening of projects after completing the supply process, according to procedures.
Submit a final report after implementing the projects for each project separately, making sure to save all documents according to procedures.
متطلبات الوظيفة:A bachelor's degree in administration science, social sciences, or a related field is required.
Minimum 3 years of relevant employment experience in project coordination, including project planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, with required experience in international or local non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
Demonstrated experience effectively coordinating with multiple partners and stakeholders, including government agencies.
Experience in managing projects focused on medical support or education is preferred.
Experience providing technical assistance to project staff and national and government partners on psychosocial support, emergency responses, participation, and education.
Demonstrated experience in collecting, integrating, and disseminating learnings
Previous experience with community-based programming is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in leading/ managing a team.
Good understanding of the Palestinian context.
Fluent in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
Good at writing reports in English.
