الوصف الوظيفي:
Sustainable Engineering Solutions (SES), a multi-disciplinary consulting company, is seeking to recruit a highly qualified candidate for the role of Construction Supervision Engineer for Jenin Wastewater Treatment System and Reuse Scheme Project, implemented under the USAID West Bank and Gaza Architecture and Engineering Services program.

Responsibilities
Assist the Construction Project Manager to manage, plan and coordinate monthly, weekly and daily construction activities, including monitoring site safety and construction quality.
Participate in construction approval and inspection activities, liaising closely with engineering and Quality Assurance (QA) personnel and ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) measures are implemented within construction activities.
Support the Construction Project Manager to ensure the overall and timely delivery of the project activities are within the project schedule.
Coordinate with contractors and suppliers in inspecting all materials delivered to the project site, ensuring they meet the specification requirements and take corrective action where the quality of materials delivered does not meet the project technical specification requirements.
Check and verify the contractor payment.
Review contractor’s Inspection and Test Plans
Assist engineering with review of subcontractor technical submittals.
Evaluate contractor performance and resolve issues.
Prepare and analyze project documentation and reports.
Provide technical guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
Assess proposed changes to project plans and their impacts.
Identify construction challenges and develop solutions.
Monitor project costs and implement cost control measures.
Participate in project commissioning and facilitate handover to clients.
متطلبات الوظيفة:
Minimum Requirements:

Solid working experience in supervising the construction of sewer pipelines networks, wastewater treatment plants, and associated facilities;
Solid working experience in supervising the construction of wastewater treatment plant facilities, such as reservoirs, tanks and pump stations;
Ability to manage and mentor site engineers and inspectors;
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards;
Effective communication with client’s project team;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with all levels and functions within the company;
Technical and management skills;
Strong analytical skills, reporting, follow up, budget control, etc.;
Fluent in Arabic, excellent English speaking and writing skills.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong skills in building relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Experience with USAID is considered an asset.
Required Experience:

Over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, including at least 10 years as a Senior project Engineer specifically in the fields of sanitation and reclaimed water reuse projects;
