Key Responsibilities

Systems administration
Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Entra ID (users, group policy, DNS, DHCP, certificates).
Administer Linux servers supporting internal services and monitoring tools.
Plan and execute OS patching cycles through WSUS and equivalent Linux tooling, and track patch compliance.
Virtualization and storage
Operate the virtualization platform (currently VMware; migration to hyperconverged infrastructure is planned) – host maintenance, capacity monitoring, VM lifecycle.
Support storage and replication operations between the main and DR sites.
Backup and disaster recovery
Run and verify daily backup jobs (Veeam), perform restore tests, and keep restore evidence current.
Participate in scheduled DR drills and failover testing.
Monitoring
Maintain and extend Zabbix monitoring coverage across servers, services, and scheduled jobs.
Respond to infrastructure alerts and escalate per the incident procedure.
Projects and compliance
Take part in infrastructure upgrade and migration projects, including server OS upgrades and platform replacements.
Keep infrastructure documentation, asset records, and operational procedures up to date in line with ISO 20000 and ISO 27001 requirements.
Support internal and external audits with evidence and technical clarifications.

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of hands-on systems administration experience.
Strong Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
Working knowledge of Linux administration (CentOS/RHEL family preferred).
Experience with server virtualization (VMware or similar).
Experience with enterprise backup tools and restore procedures.
Scripting ability in PowerShell.
Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, routing basics).
Good written and spoken Arabic and English
Nice to Have
Python or Bash scripting for automation.
Exposure to ISO 20000 or ISO 27001 environments.
Experience with Zabbix or another enterprise monitoring platform.
Experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration.
Relevant certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Linux, or networking).
