This is a full-time Internship and working hours are from Sunday to Thursday, 08:00 – 16:00.
PREMIERE-URGENCE INTERNATIONAL (PUI) is an international, apolitical, non-religious, and non-profit French organization intervening in 23 countries worldwide. PUI aims to provide a global response to the fundamental needs to people affected by humanitarian crises, from the emergency to the restoration of their autonomy and dignity. Première-Urgence and Aide Médicale Internationale merged in 2011 to offer a better range of lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to communities affected by extreme adversity.
PUI's humanitarian and development aid strategy in oPt focuses on providing support to populations affected by the coercive environment and subsequent IHL/HR violations in both the West Bank (WB) and the Gaza Strip (GS). PUI's programming incorporates interventions in several sectors, aiming at the prevention of livelihoods' loss and displacement as a consequence of protection threats, lack of services (health, education, WASH), and lack of access to agricultural lands or job opportunities.
Overall Objective:
The IT Intern will provide support to the IT Department in its daily operations, including technical assistance, IT equipment and asset management, communication services, documentation, and user support, while contributing to the smooth and efficient delivery of IT services across the mission.
Duties and Responsibilities
IT Equipment Support and Asset Management
Conduct regular inventory of IT equipment and maintain up-to-date asset records.
Assist in identifying the IT department's equipment and hardware requirements.
Verify the condition and quantity of IT equipment during receiving and issuing processes.
Ensure all required documentation and handover forms are properly completed and signed.
Assist in monitoring IT equipment stock and report any missing or damaged assets.
Technical Support
Provide first-level technical support to mission staff in the Nablus, Ramallah, and Gaza offices.
Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, printer, and other IT-related issues.
Support software installation, periodic updates, and routine maintenance of IT equipment.
Assist in organizing and cleaning electronic archive files across all departments in coordination with the IT Assistant.
Support the IT department in day-to-day operations and help ensure timely resolution of user requests.
Communication Services Support
Follow up on employees' mobile phone lines and Ooredoo invoices.
Assist in maintaining and updating communication services and telephone records as required.
IT Administrative Support
Maintain and update IT documentation and asset records.
Prepare periodic reports for the IT Assistant summarizing reported technical issues, actions taken, resolved cases, and outstanding issues requiring further follow-up.
Support the IT team in daily operational activities and perform other duties assigned by the IT Supervisor.

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience: Previous internship, volunteer experience, or practical experience in IT support is an asset but not required.
Languages: Fluent in Arabic and a good working knowledge of English.
Skills: Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting; good organizational and communication skills; attention to detail; ability to work effectively with users and team members; proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn and develop technical skills; and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
