الوصف الوظيفي:Role Summary
The Claims Officer is responsible for receiving, reviewing, processing, and documenting assigned claims in accordance with approved policies and procedures. The role includes data entry, verification, reporting, compliance checks, and ensuring accurate and timely claims handling.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and process claims within the assigned area of responsibility.
Enter claim details and related information into the computer system accurately and in line with approved procedures.
Identify and segregate claims with missing or incorrect information as flagged by the system.
Conduct authorization checks and ensure compliance with approved policies before processing claims.
Prepare and review claim lists prior to submission to the Supervisor for approval and dispatch.
Submit rejected or non-approved claims to the Supervisor as required.
Prepare required reports, statistics, and documentation related to claims processing.
Prepare Explanation of Benefits (EOB), cash collection orders, and related reports prior to Supervisor approval.
Ensure proper filing, documentation, and secure storage of all claim-related correspondence and records.
Ensure all claim notices are properly closed by the end of each month.
Maintain data protection standards and ensure system security through approved backup and protection procedures.
Comply with all established policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Propose improvements to work procedures to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and control of claims processing.
Cooperate in reviewing and investigating client inquiries and provide necessary information or clarification.
Attend training and professional development programs as required.
Share knowledge and support team collaboration across departments.
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
متطلبات الوظيفة:Work Experience
1–2 years of experience in a community pharmacy is preferred;
Previous experience is an advantage but not mandatory; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
