Our sectoral areas of engagement in Palestine focus on technical and higher education, enhancing the employment opportunities and the economic resilience of Palestinian enterprises, promoting the sustainable use of water resources, as well as good governance and improved service delivery at the municipality level. We also acknowledging the central role of the civil society, we support initiatives that foster social cohesion, resilience, and peace. Our work is firmly aligned with the National Development Pact for the Future of Palestine and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which guide our efforts toward inclusive and sustainable development.
The aim of the Project for Access to the Labor Market (PALM) II is to better tailor Palestinian labor market services to the needs of jobseekers as well as the private sector by developing the capacities and improving the service delivery of its partner organizations. The overall objective is to improve the capacities of the Ministry of Labour (MoL), the Palestinian Employment Fund (PEF), and other labor market service providers in order for them to improve the access to the labor market for job seekers.
To support the Access to the Labor Market in Ramallah, we are looking for full-time intern (100%):
“Intern in the field of Capacity Development”
متطلبات الوظيفة:Tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist in planning, coordinating, and following up on project activities which are implemented in close collaboration with the MoL as well as the PEF.
Support the organization and facilitation of field visits, workshops, training sessions, technical meetings, and stakeholder consultations related to the capacity building of labor market service providers.
Translate and interpret between Arabic and English during meetings and calls of international staff with project partners and service providers.
Contribute to drafting minutes, progress notes, reports, and lessons learned from project activities.
Assist in the logistical and administrative preparations as well as follow-ups for meetings, workshops, field visits, and others.
Required qualifications, competences, and experiences are considered an asset:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as economics, business administration, social sciences, or similar, preferably with an interest in labor market policy and/or employment promotion.
High motivation to get acquainted with processes and procedures of a mature international organization.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Excellency in Arabic and English.
