الوصف الوظيفي:The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral, and independent organization whose exclusively humanitarian mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of war and internal violence and to provide them with assistance. It also endeavors to prevent suffering by promoting and strengthening humanitarian law and universal humanitarian principles.
The ICRC Delegation in Israel and the Occupied Territories (IL/OT), is recruiting a talented, energetic, and engaged candidate for the following position:

Place of Employment : Ramallah
Contract duration : 1 Year Contract (renewable)
Occupation rate : 100%
Work Schedule : 40 hours weekly
Starting Date : February 2026
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
and maintains an understanding of the ICRC's activities in ILOT by reading briefing materials, participating in regular briefing sessions, and by taking initiative to enquire and learn with the relevant departments.
Receives calls and ensures the primary point of contact between the caller and ICRC in normal and emergency times.
Collects data on individual cases and provides, through the CCC tool, relevant details for follow up to the relevant departments.
Distinguishes between calls/feedback that can be addressed directly and others that will require to be routed to the appropriate teams/departments.
Records the details of each contact with callers in the CCC tool or other relevant system and ensures that the information received is classified into pre-determined reference categories.
Compiles disaggregated data and provides regular reports and updates on the activities to the line manager.
Makes proposals for improvements of programs based on call data.
Ensures a timely response/answer to the simple inquiries of callers based on the operational updates received form departments.
Support departments in data collection, data validation and surveys upon request from line manager
Understands that some concerns / issues require confidential and sensitive treatment and behaves accordingly.
Immediately flags to the line manager sensitive complaints or issues involving Code of Conduct violation.
Is available for field missions to become better acquainted with ICRC operations and follow up on specific cases and thematic.
The incumbent will be expected to work 40 hours per calendar week.
متطلبات الوظيفة:Desired profile and skills
Professional degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Community Development, or equivalent field
Minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar field of activity within a busy environment, preferably in the nonprofit sector
Experience in call management, social work and human service is a strong asset.
Experience in data management and practical knowledge of MS Office (in particular Excel)
Ability to adapt to technology and IT tools.
Attention to details and organization of work.
Clear and effective communication, with empathy, patience, and positive attitude
Excellent command of Arabic and English (with ability to translate from local languages in writing).
