Pioneers Baccalaureate School (PBS) is hiring an English Teacher. We are looking for a committed educator who delivers strong instruction, builds a safe and respectful classroom culture, and supports students academically and socially.

Key responsibilities
Teaching and learning
Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons
Follow curriculum maps and unit plans, and meet pacing expectations
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate grade records.
Classroom culture and student support

Maintain a safe, structured, and respectful learning environment
Apply school behavior expectations consistently
Document student concerns and communicate with parents when needed
Collaborate with counselors and administration to support student well-being
Supervision and professional responsibilities

Complete assigned duties and provide class coverage when needed
Attend meetings, trainings, and required school events
Maintain confidentiality and follow child protection expectations
Contribute positively to school culture and teamwork
Planning, preparation, and records

Prepare lesson plans, materials, and assessments in advance, and submit by deadlines
Maintain organized records and a well-managed classroom environment
Professional growth

Participate in professional development and feedback cycles
Collaborate with colleagues and stay current with best practices
