Contract Period: One year with the possibility of extension(s)
Location: Caritas Taybeh Medical Center - Taybeh Village - Ramallah
Working Schedule: Monday to Saturday (08:00 – 14:30), Fridays off

Reports to: Medical Director

Position Purpose:

The Pharmacist at Caritas Taybeh Medical Center is responsible for managing the safe and effective use of medications within the medical center. This role involves overseeing the storage, dispensing, and inventory of medications, providing patient counseling, and supporting health education initiatives. The pharmacist will also ensure accurate documentation and use of digital systems, including Management Information Systems (MIS), to support efficient healthcare delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage all medications, including proper storage, inventory control, and monitoring of expiry dates.
Dispense medications safely and accurately according to physicians’ prescriptions.
Provide patients with counseling, education, and guidance on medication use and adherence.
Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and patient care.
Contribute to the development and implementation of health education programs for the community.
Prepare material requests and support procurement and stock management processes.
Work with digital systems, including Management Information Systems (MIS), to track patients, medications, and reporting.
Support compliance with organizational policies, including safety, accountability, and safeguarding procedures.
Contribute to the preparation of reports on pharmacy activities, challenges, and achievements.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and management to ensure coordinated and efficient service delivery.

Job Requirements:
Resident of Ramallah and surrounding villages.
Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
Valid professional license to practice pharmacy.
Minimum 2 years of experience.
Experience in stock and inventory management.
Strong computer skills and familiarity with digital systems.
Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness in executing responsibilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
