MAP is seeking a Technology Support Officer that ensures the efficient operation of IT systems across its West Bank offices. The postholder will provide first- and second-line technical support to staff, resolving hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime. They will install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and systems, ensure regular maintenance of network devices, and monitor connectivity across all sites. The role also includes implementing IT security measures, monitoring for breaches, and ensuring compliance with MAP’s data protection policies. Additionally, the officer will act as the focal point for West Bank technology initiatives, coordinating with the wider IT team to deliver projects effectively and maintain accurate IT asset records and user-friendly technical documentation.
متطلبات الوظيفة:The ideal candidate holds a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional are desirable, and a valid driving license is required. The candidate should have extensive experience in hardware, software, and network troubleshooting within Windows and Android environments, as well as familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and ITIL frameworks. They will demonstrate strong communication skills, particularly in explaining technical issues to non-technical users. Experience in a humanitarian or development contexts—is desirable. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure. The candidate must also be willing to travel within the West Bank, especially to MAP’s Nablus office and mobile clinics in Nablus and the Jordan Valley.
