Background Summary:

The EJ-YMCA is a local Christian non-profit association whose mission is to strengthen and build individuals and communities by establishing programs to develop a true human being in terms of spirit, mind, and body. Its work is based on Christian principles and the values of respect, honesty, dignity, justice, responsibility, and attention. The YMCA integrates everyone regardless of their age, income, abilities, race, religion, or gender. The YMCA is working hard to identify and assess the needs of Palestinian society as it seeks to develop programs that respond to the aspirations of young people and their families.

The East-Jerusalem YMCA’s Career Advancement Center is seeking to hire a “Field Coordinator” in its main office in Jerusalem.

Key responsibilities:
Coordinate all activities in targeted locations.
Coordinate with all stakeholders including local partners, authorities and communities.
Monitor daily operations in designated areas.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress and evaluate the quality of activities.
Collect and document all field data, including documents required by procurement unit at EJ-YMCA.
Provide support in procurement processes.
Prepare and submit timely reports (weekly, monthly, or as required) to the project manager.
Conduct community needs assessments and ensure that project activities align with identified needs.
Organize and facilitate community meetings, trainings and awareness raising activities.
Monitor the results of all interventions undertaken, and identifying inefficiencies and coordinate staff and equipment resources.
Support youth groups to design and implement actions.
متطلبات الوظيفة:
Required Qualifications and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Management.
At least two years of experience in community development projects.
Working experience with women and youth projects is a credit.
Ability to organize work, lead and deliver activities with high-level standards, and proven track record in producing quality work.
Prepared to work under pressure.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Computer literate especially Microsoft office applications.
Good communication and writing skills in Arabic and English.
Valid driving license.
