We are seeking a proactive and skilled International Relations and Communications Officer to enhance our global outreach, manage external communications, and foster strategic international partnerships.

Job Overview:

The International Relations and Communications Officer plays a crucial role in bridging our organization with global partners, managing external communications, and fostering strategic alliances. This position requires a dynamic individual with exceptional communication, coordination, and project management skills to support our mission on an international scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinating Delegations:
Plan, organize, and oversee logistics and agendas for visiting international delegations.
Serve as the primary contact for delegates, ensuring smooth communication and coordination during their visit.
Prepare briefing materials and presentations to inform delegations about our organization’s goals, activities, and regional context.
International Communications:
Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, international organizations, and other key stakeholders.
Monitor media outlets and track press releases related to the organization.
Strategic Partnerships:
Identify, develop, and maintain strategic partnerships with international organizations, NGOs, government agencies, and other relevant entities.
Collaborate with partners to advance mutual goals, share resources, and enhance the organization’s global impact.
Negotiate and manage partnership agreements to ensure compliance with organizational standards and objectives.
Writing Concept Papers:
Research, draft, and edit concept papers and proposals for new projects or initiatives aligned with the organization’s strategic and CSR goals.
Collaborate with relevant teams/departments to gather necessary information and ensure concept papers are comprehensive, well-structured, and persuasive.
Present concept papers to potential partners, donors, and stakeholders to secure funding and support.
Project Coordination:
Oversee the implementation of specific projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet desired outcomes.
Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure effective communication, resource allocation, and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor and evaluate project progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Experience:

2 – 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications:

A degree in international relations, communications, political science, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in international communications, partnership management, or project coordination is highly advantageous.
Strong understanding of the regional and international context relevant to the organization’s mission.
Experience in CSR and foundation fundamentals desired.
