Project Medical Referral Assistant


Main Purpose

Main purpose:    Assist Project Medical Referent (PMR) in defining, planning and monitoring medical activities and programs in the field in accordance with MSF protocols as well as to coordinate human and material related resources required to ensure the quality of care provided by MSF.

Accountabilities

Assist PMR in implementation of the overall medical activities and management of resources in the project.
To ensure adequate management of the medical programs in line with objectives, MSF protocols and standards to ensure delivery of quality care to the patients.
Contribute to the design, development and implementation of the medical programmes based on his/her local knowledge and understanding of the cultural and medical needs in this specific situation.
Participate in the monitoring and supervision of the medical activities.
Assist the PMR in the management of the LHS medical team.
To provide medical technical guidance for the medical programmes activities, and training programme development and ensure compliance with line with MoH/MSF policies and SoP.
Manage and analyze project medical data and assist in compiling monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required
Assist PMR and other key medical staff in understanding and interpreting the local medical context and the representing of MSF at meetings with MoH, other government departments and with different stakeholders.
Help to establish and maintain a network of contacts, stakeholder mapping and maintain regular contact with MoH, and other local actors.
Record meeting minutes and regularly update PMR of updates and outcomes.
Assist PMR in project pharmacy management as required.
Assist PMR in implementation of health policy for locally hired staff. Manage staff medical needs, reimbursement’s, sick leave, referrals and follow as required and manage documentation, staff health records and respect confidentiality.
Assists the PMR in emergency preparedness strategies
متطلبات الوظيفة:
Requirements:

Education:

Medical Doctor diploma or equivalent in a related allied health
Experience:

Medical Doctor, or equivalente, with 2 or more years clinical experience in general medicini and/or public health
Experience from working within MHPSS
Experience working in an NGO an advantage
Experience in training and assessment an advantage
Languages

Essential: Fluently in written and spoke English and Arabic is essencial

Knowledge

Essential computer literacy on a high user level (Word & Excel)

Good in planing and organizing, flexibility, team-worker, quality and result oriented and able to travel between project sites with potential overnight stay.
