JOB PROFILE

MSF Spain is looking for a Recreational ACtivity Facilitaor in Hebron to help us contribute to the provision of the protection activities as part of the emergency response in the West Bank.

Accountabilities:

Prepare and lead activities with target population in the Safe Spaces under the supervision of the line manager.
Ensure the necessary supplies and materials to be used in the activities are present in the activity. location and ensure that the activities are carried out in a clean, safe and secure environment.
Identifying beneficiaries who need support for social critical needs and internally refer to the Social Workers
Identifying beneficiaries who need MHPSS support and internally refer to the Community Mental Health Workers.
Create and maintain dialogue with the community and to listen to their needs.
Continuously assess, monitor and evaluate needs (individual and community) and activities, and communicate observations with the line manager
Detect the opportunities to have specialized sessions by MHPSS and Health Promotion Community Eengagement (HPCE) departments in the Safe Spaces on topics that the groups are interested in/can benefit from
Contribute to context understanding and data collection on medical/humanitarian issues, with a specific attention to vulnerabilities, to provide reliable information for operational decision-making through:Supporting administration of assessments/ surveys when needed
Reporting all important information expressed by the beneficiaries and the communities, ensuring confidentiality at all times
Inform line manager of any problem of any kind arising during the day-to-day activities.
متطلبات الوظيفة:
Education

Strong added value: Completion of an undergraduate degree in social work, education, psychology.

Experience

Background in case work and case management, psychosocial work, teaching, social work, youth engagement, public health is considered a strong asset.
Experience in similar position with I/NGOs is a strong asset
Languages

Mother tongue/C2 for Arabic is essential
Proficiency in English is essential
Knowledge

Training in Psychological First Aid, protection and violence prevention, GBV case management and psychosocial support is an asset.
Strong communication, and social skills (attentive listening, open attitude, empathy, sensitivity)
