MEDICAL DOCTOR COVER

MSF Spain is looking for a MEDICAL DOCTOR COVER   in Hebron to Provide outpatient and/or inpatient medical care to patients/beneficiaries according to adapted and updated medical knowledge, MSF protocols, values and universal hygiene standards to improve the patients/beneficiaries health conditions.

Accountabilities
•   Apply medical knowledge and skills to diagnose and prevention. Carry out outpatient consultations, prescribing the necessary treatment respecting MSF protocols.
•       Keep the patient and/or his/her family informed about the illness and provide appropriate explanations about the treatment to follow, checking they have understood.
•       Follow up the patient’s cases through consultations and examinations, prescribing the necessary treatment following MSF protocols, deciding regarding discharge, referrals or follow-up in coordination with the medical team, and informing the patient and their family about the patient’s evolution.
•       Ensure rational use of medicines, medical equipment, and supplies, and compliance with hygiene, infection prevention, according to MSF protocols.
•       Participate in the collection and analysis of epidemiological data, checking its validity and informing the line manager or project coordinator about any problem or complication of the patient’s illness, medical error and monitors the proper functioning of the mobile clinic, equipment or material.
•       Ensure ongoing training of the medical/paramedical multidisciplinary team to optimize the quality of care.
•       Knows and ensures all MSF medical protocols are followed and implemented, checking universal precautions are always followed and reducing bio-hazard risks and improving infection control. Ensures Professional confidentiality is respected.
•       Support and provide guidance to the medical team, contributing to effective work planning, coordination, and service delivery, and participating in emergencies or on-call duties when required.
 
MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities
MSF provides healthcare services across Hebron Governorate. The Medical Doctor will be part of the mobile team, providing holistic medical care to vulnerable populations in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, mental health staff, and health promoters.
Healthcare activities are delivered in different settings, including community centres, tents, Primary Health Centres (PHCs), and through visits. Flexibility, mobility, and adaptability are essential for this position.
The medical doctor will:
•    Provide medical consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up in accordance with MSF protocols and standards.
•    Prescribe and use medicines in line with the MSF standard drug list and pharmacy procedures.
•    Participate in weekly and monthly medical data collection and reporting.
•    Contribute to capacity-building activities for communities and PHC staff.
•    Provide training to MSF staff, including Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid.
•    Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and patient-centred care.
•    Support adherence to MSF policies, protocols, and quality-of-care standards.
•    Provide clinical care in line with MSF protocols and standards.
•    Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
•    Work effectively in different healthcare settings and adapt to changing operational needs.
•    Travel is required and work as part of the multidisciplinary
•    Available to work acrss Hebron Governorate

متطلبات الوظيفة:
Education         Medical Doctor diploma    

Experience       2-year experience minimum as a Medical Doctor or in clinical work (can be within medical training). Desirable previous experience / training with chronic patients and or gynecological patients.

Languages                       Arabic and English on B1 level are a must

Knowledge       Essential computer literacy (word, excel)
