About The Role:
The Health Worker will plan and deliver community health awareness and education activities in mobile clinic communities, focusing on general health issues and priority health topics. The role will involve building community networks, consulting with community members, conducting health education sessions, and evaluating their effectiveness through appropriate tools and reporting mechanisms. The Health Worker will also provide patients with individual health information and guidance, including explaining the correct use of medications prescribed by mobile clinic doctors.
The role requires a valid driving license, and flexibility to travel across the West Bank as required

The ideal candidate should be based in the Jordan Valley/Jericho area and have a background in nursing, public health, or a related field, supported by strong literacy, numeracy, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, and have Valid Driving license. They should have substantial experience in health education and community or public health services, with mobile clinic experience being an advantage. Experience supporting children, vulnerable individuals, or case management is also desirable. The candidate must be willing to travel and work across the West Bank and demonstrate MAP’s core values, as well as strong teamwork, communication, planning, analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in Arabic and English, proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, work under pressure, analyses health data, and build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders are essential.
