Background

The logistics operation requires a qualified Logistics Associate with experience in customs clearance, shipment coordination, and logistics documentation management. The position will support the movement of humanitarian cargo and ensure timely customs clearance and delivery of shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customs clearance documentation and ensure completeness of shipment files.
• Coordinate pre-clearance and shipment approval processes.
• Liaise with clearing agents, shipping agents, service providers, and relevant authorities.
• Coordinate the clearance of humanitarian shipments arriving through land, air, and sea entry points.
• Prepare service requests and monitor service delivery.
• Coordinate transportation and warehousing activities to ensure timely delivery of cargo.
• Review logistics invoices and supporting documents and facilitate payment processing.
• Maintain logistics databases and tracking systems.
• Support KPI development, performance monitoring, and reporting.
• Contribute to workflow improvements and operational efficiency.
• Support team members during periods of high workload.

Qualifications and Experience

• University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or another relevant field.
• Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in logistics, customs clearance, supply chain management, or commercial operations.
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes and customs clearance workflows.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Knowledge of Hebrew is an asset.
