الوصف الوظيفي:The Lycée Français de Jérusalem is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Financial, Administrative and Development Manager to join its leadership team.

Position Overview
Reporting directly to both the Head of School and the School Management Committee, the Financial, Administrative and Development Manager plays a central role in the governance, operational management, financial sustainability, and strategic development of the institution.
The position serves as the key interface between the pedagogical leadership of the school, represented by the Head of School, and the legal entity responsible for the management and administration of the Lycée. As a member of the executive leadership team, the Manager contributes to strategic decision-making, institutional sustainability, and organizational development, ensuring effective communication and operational continuity among all governance bodies of the institution.
In this capacity, the Manager is responsible for the coordination, supervision, implementation, and follow-up of administrative, financial, legal, human resources, operational, and development matters, while ensuring compliance with the strategic orientations defined by the Management Committee and the educational objectives led by the Head of School.
Given the size and structure of the school, this position requires a high degree of versatility, adaptability, initiative, and leadership. Beyond traditional administrative and financial responsibilities, the Manager is expected to contribute actively to the school's overall development strategy, including:
Institutional communication and external relations;
Development of strategic partnerships;
Fundraising initiatives and donor relations;
Marketing and promotional activities;
Student recruitment and enrollment development;
Strengthening the school's visibility, attractiveness, and long-term sustainability.
The Manager also oversees relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, legal advisors, public authorities, suppliers, donors, institutional partners, and the Agence pour l’Enseignement Français à l’Étranger (AEFE).
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Finance
Prepare, oversee, and monitor the annual budget.
Monitor treasury operations, conduct cash flow forecasting, and support the long-term financial sustainability of the institution.
Implement and supervise accounting, procurement, administrative operations, and financial reporting activities.
Ensure the implementation of robust internal control procedures and compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
Produce financial analyses, forecasts, and decision-support tools for the Head of School and governance bodies.
Coordinate relationships with auditors, banks, legal advisors, insurance providers, and public authorities.
Monitor financial risks and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
Institutional Development & School Promotion
Contribute actively to the school's strategic development and long-term sustainability.
Support communication, marketing, and outreach initiatives aimed at strengthening the school's visibility, reputation, and attractiveness.
Develop and maintain partnerships with institutional, corporate, and community stakeholders.
Participate in fundraising, sponsorship, and donor-relations initiatives.
Contribute to student recruitment, enrollment growth, and retention strategies.
Assist the Head of School and the Management Committee in the planning and implementation of institutional development projects.
Human Resources & School Life
Supervise and coordinate administrative and human resources operations, including recruitment processes, onboarding, payroll coordination, personnel administration, and employee follow-up.
Ensure compliance with labor regulations and internal HR policies.
Support workforce planning, organizational development, and resource allocation.
Contribute to maintaining a positive, collaborative, and multicultural working environment.
Advise management on HR-related matters and organizational improvement initiatives.
Facilities & Infrastructure
Supervise facility management, maintenance operations, health and safety standards, security procedures, and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate infrastructure projects, campus improvements, and capital investment initiatives.
Oversee contracts and relationships with external service providers and suppliers.
Ensure that school facilities support educational objectives and provide a safe environment for students and staff.
متطلبات الوظيفة:Qualifications & Experience
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field.
Minimum of five years of senior-level experience in financial and administrative management.
Previous experience within an educational institution, international organization, NGO, or multicultural environment is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial planning, accounting standards, internal controls, compliance, and administrative management.
Experience in project management, institutional governance, and organizational development is considered a strong asset.
Experience in fundraising, partnership development, or strategic planning would be an advantage.
