About GSG:
Gaza Sky Geeks (GSG) is Gaza’s first and only innovation hub and start-up accelerator, run by Mercy Corps (MC), a non-profit international relief and development organisation with programs in the occupied Palestinian territories since the 1980s. Mercy Corps founded GSG in partnership with Google.org in 2011 with an aim to transform Gaza’s most talented youth into the Middle East’s technology business leaders and to realise Gaza’s potential as a start-up hub. In addition to running tech ecosystems and outreach events, the GSG co-working hub, incubation and acceleration programs, beginning in 2017 GSG will be launching two new programming verticals under our brand.

About the role:
The Technical Training Support will act as a co-instructor across different trainings, supporting the delivery and smooth implementation of each program. This includes coordinating schedules, sharing session details, tracking attendance, and providing technical and logistical support during sessions. The role also involves assisting participants by addressing inquiries, following up on assignments, and resolving technical issues. Additionally, the Technical Training Support will maintain accurate documentation of training activities, collect and analyze participant feedback, and provide regular updates on progress, while actively engaging with the GSG team through weekly meetings.

Scope of Work:
The consultant will provide up to 400 hours of support services during the contract period, based on program needs.

Deliverables:
The SIDA Trainings Support will perform the following tasks:

Training Delivery Support
Attendance tracking sheets submitted for each session
Session coordination logs (including schedule sharing and communication records)
Technical/logistical support provided during sessions (documented per session)
Participant Support
Participant inquiry log (including issues raised and resolutions)
Assignment follow-up tracking sheet per cohort
Communication tracking (WhatsApp / Google Classroom engagement logs)
Monitoring & Reporting
Monthly training progress report
Participant feedback analysis report per training cycle
Consolidated training documentation (materials, attendance, engagement)
Internal Coordination
Weekly meeting attendance with GSG Team and summary notes submitted (if applicable)
Selection Criteria & Evaluation Methodology

Applicants will be evaluated based on best value for money, combining technical and financial scores:

Relevant experience ( CV): 30%
Interview performance (Questions will be shared with the Procurement Team at a later stage) : 40%
Financial offer (hourly rate): 30%
Total Score: 100%

Minimum requirements:
Relevant experience in training support, facilitation, or coordination
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proposed hourly rate

General Considerations for All Instructors:
Priority will be given to candidates with relevant experience
Fresh graduates and university students are encouraged to apply
Hours will be assigned on a need basis; no guarantee of full utilization
Terms of Payment
Payment will be made based on actual hours worked and validated deliverables
Payment will be issued in 5 phases, each upon completion of up to 80 hours
Each payment is subject to submission and approval of:
Signed timesheet
Deliverables (reports, logs, and documentation as outlined above)
Invoice or financial claim
The total quoted amount must be inclusive of VAT and stated in USD
A 10% income tax will be deducted as per regulations. if a Valid Deduction at Source Certificate is not available
