About MEII
The Middle East Investment Initiative (MEII) is a nonprofit organization that supports economic development and access to finance through innovative financial and technical assistance programs. MEII is currently expanding its digital platforms and technology infrastructure, including Tamweeli and related digital services, to support operational efficiency, service delivery, and secure data management.

Position Summary
MEII is seeking a qualified and motivated Infrastructure and Systems Operations Officer to support the setup, administration, monitoring, and protection of its technology environment. The role will focus on virtual servers, infrastructure operations, system monitoring, security oversight, and performance management for Tamweeli and other related systems and services.

The selected candidate will work closely with the IT Manager and support the day-to-day technical operation, performance monitoring, security follow-up, and reliability of MEII systems and services.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of virtual servers and related infrastructure for Tamweeli and other MEII systems.
Support the administration and follow-up of infrastructure, monitoring, and security services across MEII environments.
Monitor system availability, network performance, server health, and service uptime for Tamweeli and associated environments.
Help identify, investigate, and escalate infrastructure, performance, connectivity, and security issues.
Track logs, alerts, and system events and support incident response and troubleshooting.
Assist in implementing infrastructure hardening and basic cybersecurity controls across servers and services.
Support backup verification, system documentation, access tracking, patch follow-up, and routine maintenance tasks.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors/developers on hosting, server performance, security matters, and operational issues.
Maintain technical records, diagrams, inventories, and operational documentation related to infrastructure and monitoring.
Contribute to improving reliability, visibility, and operational control across MEII’s digital platforms.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 2–4 years of relevant hands-on experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, or network/server monitoring.
Good practical knowledge of virtualized infrastructure, VPS environments, Linux server administration, and network fundamentals.
Experience working with cloud or hosted environments, including platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Azure AI Foundry or similar AI platform environments.
Familiarity with web applications, APIs, SSL certificates, backup systems, and firewall/security concepts.
Good understanding of network performance, connectivity troubleshooting, access control, and system security principles.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across servers, applications, and networks.
Good documentation and reporting skills.
Good communication skills in Arabic and English.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools and alerting platforms.
Familiarity with security monitoring and log analysis, SIEM platforms, vulnerability management processes, and system hardening practices.
Experience supporting monitoring, logging, and security oversight across hosted or cloud-based environments.
Exposure to incident management, patch management, and infrastructure documentation.
Experience supporting application environments in coordination with software developers or external service providers.
