This is a full-time position and working hours are from Sunday to Thursday, 08:00 – 16:00.
PREMIERE-URGENCE INTERNATIONAL (PUI) is an international, apolitical, non-religious, and non-profit French organization intervening in 23 countries worldwide. PUI aims to provide a global response to the fundamental needs to people affected by humanitarian crises, from the emergency to the restoration of their autonomy and dignity. Première-Urgence and Aide Médicale Internationale merged in 2011 to offer a better range of lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to communities affected by extreme adversity.
PUI's humanitarian and development aid strategy in oPt focuses on providing support to populations affected by the coercive environment and subsequent IHL/HR violations in both the West Bank (WB) and the Gaza Strip (GS). PUI's programming incorporates interventions in several sectors, aiming at the prevention of livelihoods' loss and displacement as a consequence of protection threats, lack of services (health, education, WASH), and lack of access to agricultural lands or job opportunities.
Overall Objective:
The Deputy project manager for WB Protection Consortium will support the WBPC project manager in supervising the implementation of the West Bank Protection Consortium project in all its components.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Programs: He/She will support the WBPC project manager in the implementation and oversight of the WB protection Consortium projects.
Quality Assurance, He/She will support the WBPC project manager in setting up internal tools, procedures, checkups, and whatever actions needed to ensure the quality of the WBPC operations to meet the high standards of PUI.
Human Resources: He/She will supervise some of the operational staff upon delegation from the WBPC project manager. Meanwhile, he / she will be managing the daily workers and interns supporting the WBPC team.
Representation: Under supervision of the WBPC project manager, , he/she will represent PUI to local partners, authorities, players involved in implementation of the WB protection Consortium project and other projects, stakeholders, clusters in coordination with the WBPC project manager.
Contribute to the Development of New Propositions

WBPC project manager (line manager).

Internal: all PUI technical officers, WBFCo, MEAL unit, logistics department, HR department, finance department, advocacy colleagues, grant unit, MHPSS colleagues , security unit …. etc.)
External: He/She represents PUI in different meetings/visits/workshops conducted by other partners upon the request of the WBPC project manager, ex: OCHA meeting/s, WBPC partners meetings , PA officials meetings, donor field visit meetings..etc
Duty Station:
This position is based in PUI Field Office in Nablus, with frequent travel throughout the West Bank and continuous travel to PUI offices in Ramallah and Hebron, when needed to supervise his/her team and ensure smooth implementation of PUI activities across the WB, in addition to attending relevant internal and external meetings and field visits

Bachelor’s or Master's degree(preferable) in a field related to Project Management /engineering, humanitarian-related field ..etc
Proven experience in project management skills over the last four years.
Minimum two years' experience in staff management position.
Relevant working experience in related fields with a focus on Technical and Humanitarian areas.
Good writing skills
Understanding of humanitarian project management
Prior knowledge of the area
Understanding of institutional donor (ECHO, UN agencies, etc.) procedures.
