Location: Ramallah and Al-Ram, depends on the work activities.

About Al-Reef:
Al Reef for Investment and Agricultural Marketing is a private shareholder limited company. It is owned by the Palestinian Agricultural Development Association (PARC) and it was established in 1993 in an attempt to provide promotional, marketing, and manufacturing services of Palestinian agricultural products. The company exports its products to numerous organizations in Italy, France, Switzerland, Australia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Canada, Austria, USA and Japan, in addition to the local Palestinian market.
Position Overview:
The Fair Trade and International Communication Officer is directly managed by Al-Reef's Executive Manager and will be responsible for the company’s daily communications with international organizations and acts as the link between agricultural cooperatives and farmers in Palestine and the final customer in external markets. This role requires strong communication skills in English and Arabic, teamwork spirit, and willingness to learn new things.

Main Responsibilities:
Professional and daily communication with international customers and organizations in addition to stakeholders in the local community.
Report, file and document the company’s activities.
Write and translate official documents and promotional materials (Newsletters, Videos, Interviews, Success Stories, Reports, Social Media Posts, Annual Reports…).
Represent the company in delegation business trips to external countries and international conferences, seminars, or meetings; online and offline.
Write project proposals and fundraising campaigns.
Write and translate project reports in addition to necessary reports for Al-Reef’s membership in the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO).
Host foreign delegations at the company’s facilities and conduct interpreting tasks.
Follow-up the logistics of the company’s exportation activities.
Market and promote the company’s products through social media, the website and various promotional online presentations and exhibitions.
Manage and archive administrative documents related to the department and the company.
Prepare invoices for all trade partners.
Conduct interviews with farmers.
Open and develop local and international marketing opportunities.
Work with other departments and provide administrative support to ensure the efficiency of the company’s workflow.

Skills:
Translation; English to Arabic and vice versa.
Excellent writing and editing in English and Arabic.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English and Arabic.
Excellent English-speaking skills.
Excellent public speaking skills.
Time management.
Organizational skills.
Professional use of Microsoft Office. Skills in Photo and Video Editing Programs are a plus.
Interpreting; English to Arabic and vice versa.
Excellent analytical skills including writing detailed reports.

Qualifications & Competences:

Bachelor’s Degree in English Language, Translation, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or any related field.
Minimum experience of 1 year in a similar field.
Previous experience in NGOs is preferred.
