Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate, dynamic, and driven individual to join our team as Portfolio Manager. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and impact of BuildPalestine’s portfolio of social enterprises. The role requires a mix of business acumen, impact management expertise, and strong relationship-building skills to guide enterprises through their growth journey and ensure measurable progress in both financial sustainability and social impact.
You will serve as the main focal point for a portfolio of social enterprises, providing hands-on guidance, coordinating expert support, and ensuring alignment with program goals and impact outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise Diagnosis & Follow-up
Assess enterprise needs, challenges, and opportunities through diagnostics and ongoing follow-up.
2. Business Development Support
Analyze business models, revenue streams, and cost structures.
Guide enterprises in improving their financial sustainability and scaling impact.
3. Impact Measurement & Management (IMM)
Support enterprises in developing their Theory of Change, defining KPIs, and collecting and analyzing impact data.
Ensure insights are used to strengthen strategy, storytelling, and accountability.
4. Financial Literacy & Readiness
Build entrepreneurs’ financial capacity by helping them prepare budgets, pricing models, and investment readiness plans.
5. Mentor & Consultant Coordination
Identify enterprise support needs, recruit relevant mentors and consultants, and track the implementation of deliverables.
6. Impact & Performance Tracking
Monitor progress against financial and impact indicators.
Document results, lessons learned, and success stories for internal and donor reporting.
7. Ecosystem Engagement
Maintain strong knowledge of the Palestinian and regional social entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Build relationships with funders, partners, and peer organizations to create synergies.
8. Facilitation & Knowledge Sharing
Design and deliver workshops, clinics, and learning sessions tailored to portfolio needs.
Foster peer learning and collaboration among social enterprises.
9. Communication & Reporting
Ensure consistent communication with enterprises and internal teams.
Contribute to program reports and updates to donors and stakeholders.
متطلبات الوظيفة:Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in social enterprise support, business development, consulting, or program management.
Strong understanding of impact measurement and management frameworks.
Experience in financial analysis, business modeling, or investment readiness.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills in English and Arabic.
Familiarity with the Palestinian social entrepreneurship ecosystem is a strong advantage.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Based in Ramallah.
