Background:
Teach For Palestine (TFP) is a Palestinian non-governmental organization established in early 2023. TFP’s mission is to provide quality and inclusive education for all children in Palestine, especially in marginalized and remote areas. The program works to improve school environments by equipping teachers with innovative and effective teaching methodologies, particularly in the use of digital tools to enhance the classroom experience.

TFP is working on developing collective leadership by investing in promising teachers who commit to teaching in vulnerable schools and becoming lifelong advocates for the right of every child to learn in safe and quality learning environments and act towards achieving this right. The program focuses on equipping the targeted teachers of primary levels with the necessary skills, knowledge, and mindsets to achieve transformative educational outcomes in Palestine.

About the Position
TFP is seeking a qualified M&E Officer who will help in designing, implementing, and managing monitoring and evaluation (M&E) processes. He/she will help in building data collection methods, performance indicators, and evaluation frameworks that will be used to assess the impact and effectiveness of program activities. Also, he/she will help in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, interpreting findings, and generating actionable insights to help decision-making and improve program outcomes. This position will help TFP to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in implementing its interventions which leads to maximizing the impact of these interventions.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare the annual M&E plan for the programs.
Lead M&E plan implementation and lead the development and design of M&E tools, participate in data collection using different methods (e.g conducting reflection sessions, focus groups, etc.)
Closely monitor programs/ projects’ progress against intended results and relevant indicators.
Develop, monitor and revise the projects’ logical frameworks (log frames) in line with various donor requirements and the organization’s strategy.
Create and support the implementation of baseline assessments.
Establish the best practices to ensure the data collected is accurate, timely and disseminated appropriately in high quality reports.
Analyze data with the support of programs’ coordinators and projects’ coordinators, to provide recommendations on project improvements and/or corrective measures.
Produce frequent M&E progress reports with status of results with its related presentations.
Provide support to the program department in the selection process of fellows.
Implement impact studies about TFP interventions with its related reports and presentations.
Implement research studies about TFP fields of intervention of TFP.
متطلبات الوظيفة:
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

A degree in Management, Social Development or another related field.
At least 3 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably within NGOs related to education.
Excellent critical and creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical skills and an understanding of monitoring and evaluation tools.
Good reporting and writing skills in English and Arabic.
The ability to gain support from staff across team and to build the capacity of others.
Excellent communication skills: able to work independently or within team comprised of various departments under tight deadlines.
Excellent Arabic and English written and oral communication skills, including presentation.
Excellent computer skills.
Successful experience in proposal writing is a plus.
