الوصف الوظيفي
The main role of the Mental Health Psychologist is to participate in the planning, supervision, and management of daily activities of MHPSS department in the program in accordance with MSF standards in order to provide the most appropriate MHPSS care for patients.
Main Responsibilities of the position:
Participate in the planning, organization, and management of MHPSS activities, in close collaboration with the Mental Health Activity Manager and other medical team members, in order to ensure an efficient and effective implementation of the resources needed while maintaining high levels of quality in MHPSS MSF programs and activities.
Support the Mental Health Manager in developing partnerships between MHPSS activities with other relevant actors and liaises with the local counterparts (like MoH, WHO, ICRC and NGO) on mental health matters, assuring the effectiveness of referral system and tools
Supervise the daily MHPSS activities, patient flow and community support according to MSF protocols and standards in order to provide the most appropriate MHPSS care for people in need
Liaise with the other MSF team members of the project.
Support, in close coordination with the Mental Health Manager and HR department, the associated processes (training/induction, evaluation, potential detection, development and communication) of the staff under his/her responsibility in order to ensure both the sizing and the amount of knowledge required
Oversee the administrative processes associated with MHPSS department functioning.
When needed, and with explicit validation from the Mental Health Manager, give psychological support to patients according to MSF protocols to improve mental health conditions of patients and enhance their functionality.
Compile the data and statistic linked with MH activities and report to the MH activity manager
Offer supervision to psychologists and social workers in collaboration with the Mental Health Activity Manager.
Ensure the patient’s related information is kept confidential, maintaining constant feedback to the Mental Health Manager.
متطلبات الوظيفة
Education: BA in Psychology, Master Degree in Clinical Psychology or related discipline.
Experience: 2 years relative experience in supervisory position, preferably with NGOs
Languages: English is Mandatory in addition to local language.
Knowledge: computer literacy (word, excel and internet), Reporting.
Competencies: Mobility and flexibility will be an asset for this position.
