وصف الوظيفة:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented RAN/CS Core Operations Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our 2G/3G Radio Network Controllers. Your primary goal will be to ensure optimal performance of the network RAN nodes and to collaborate effectively with related parties to resolve any operational issues.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Perform operation and maintenance of the core platforms and 2G/3G RAN Controllers.
• Applying all requested Changes in 2G/3G RAN Controllers and RBS, Base Band’s.
• Performing daily, weekly, and monthly routine health checks and backups.
• Participate in all planned and unplanned Core Network activities.
• Reporting all O&M activities and Fault escalations to the direct supervisor.
• Following up all issues reported from FO department to meet network KPI’s.
• Meet Company SLAs for fault-clearing times.
• To keep in close contact with Network Operation Centre to identify network problems in time and solution within minimum time.
• Solving TTs by Troubleshooting RNC/BSC and RBS faults.
• CSR Handling.
• Perform HW expansions in RNC/BSC, sites rehoming, BTS software testing, New 2G /3G site definition, Activation, and health check.
• To be 24h/7d On-call and onsite available if needed.
• Performing all needed software upgrades and minor updates.
• Participating Core Projects and report all accomplished tasks to the Project manager.
Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Telecom/Electrical/Computer engineering or equivalent.
Good Knowledge of (GSM/WCDMA/LTE) technology equipment’s.
Basic Linux/Unix skills.
MS Office skills.
Flexibility and ability to be On Call 24/7.
(1-3) years of experience in related field, (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
Ability to work under pressure.
Strong analytical skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English
Team work and cooperation.
Good Communication skills.
Valid driving license is preferred.
