الوصف الوظيفي:
Sustainable Engineering Solutions (SES), a multi-disciplinary consulting company, is seeking to recruit a highly qualified candidate for the role of Construction Project Manager for the East Jerusalem Health Care Facilities (Al Makassad Hospital and Princess Basma Center), implemented under the USAID West Bank and Gaza Architecture and Engineering Services Program.

Responsibilities

Review and approve construction schedules for different project phases based on established deadlines.
Conduct in-depth reviews to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
Monitor daily construction progress to ensure compliance with building and safety codes.
Plan, develop, and organize the construction effort to create a cost-effective plan for timely completion within budget, and oversee the implementation of that plan.
Ensure adherence to quality construction standards and proper construction techniques.
Monitor and report project details, including progress, risks, and opportunities, to the Project Construction Manager (PCM) in a timely manner.
Monitor construction productivity and schedule performance, and investigate any reasons for less-than-satisfactory performance.
Prepare internal and external reports on project status.
Plan ahead to prevent problems and address any emerging issues.
Approve submittals and shop drawings.
Follow up with project staff to ensure delegated tasks are performed and completed.
Prepare for and lead progress meetings.
Coordinate with various project stakeholders.
Review and recommend on Variation Order requests for submission to the client.
Issue all correspondences with the contractor and other stakeholders.
Adhere to company safety standards and promote a safety culture within the team.
Review and approve contractor payments.
Minimum Requirements:

Possess advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, methods, and contract administration and management.
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time and project management skills.
Strong leadership and human resource management skills.
High proficiency with computers, particularly Microsoft Office and construction management software packages.
Full proficiency in Arabic and English is required.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
Deep understanding of expansions, additions, and renovations.
Experience managing projects in a healthcare setting, including hospitals is considered an asset.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Good knowledge of the Israeli Construction Code and International Construction Standards related to building works.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong skills in building relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Experience with USAID is considered an asset.
Jerusalem ID is considered an asset.
Required Experience:

Over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, including at least 12 years as a Senior Project Manager specifically in building construction
