Dunya Women’s Cancer Association is a nonprofit organization, it was Established in Ramallah in 10/01/2022. Dunya Association believes that quality health is a right for all and works to provide free services for marginalized groups and social hardship cases, which annually form more than 30% of the total number of beneficiaries

Mission: Dunya Association works to protect women and girls from tumors by providing quality preventive and diagnostic services for women's tumors, increasing societal awareness of the importance of early detection, and influencing policies and legislation.

Dunya Women’s Cancer Center was established in Ramallah in 2011 as a non-profit center and since 2022 dunya is under the umbrella of Dunya Women's Cancer Association. It is the first and only center in Palestine specialized in diagnosing breast and gynecological tumors.

The center has a multidisciplinary team including but not limited to: radiologists, radiology technicians, oncologist, Oncological surgery doctor, women’s doctor, nurses, lab technician and administrative staff.

Dunya Women’s Cancer Association is currently seeking to hire Fundraising and Public Relations Officer to work at Dunya Women’s Cancer Center.

At DWCC and especially in the Fundraising and PR Unit, we aim to make the world a better place for Palestinians especially women. We aim at enhancing and empowering women in getting early diagnoses for Breast and Gynecological diseases and provide cancer patients the care needed according to international standards.

Job Purpose: The Fundraising and Public Relations Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to raise funds and enhance the organization’s national and international relationships. The officer will also engage the local community in the center's activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement fundraising strategies to increase donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations.

Identify potential donors and cultivate relationships with them.

Write grant proposals and manage grant applications.

Plan and execute fundraising events.

Respect and meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering writing, review, approval and follow up.

Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets to increase the center's visibility.
Communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders including CSOs (NNGOs, CBOs, Unions, Cooperatives, coalitions, networks), and local councils.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that fundraising and public relations efforts align with the center's mission and goals.
Most importantly, advocate ideas and projects that will make a positive change.

Help Dunya connect and partner / twin with similar associations locally and internationally to realize projects and exchanges

متطلبات الوظيفة:
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as communications, public relations, or nonprofit management.
At least 5 years of experience in fundraising and/or public relations.
Proficiency and fluency in English Language (reading, writing, speaking).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with grant writing and management.
Knowledge of fundraising best practices.
Experience with event planning.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good listener & takes feedback.
Working Conditions: The Fundraising and Public Relations Officer will work full time or part time at the Dunya Women's Cancer Center in Palestine. Some evening and weekend work may be required for fundraising events.
